  • Yes, and 90% of Canada's population lies within 100 miles of the US border. But there is health care access available for everyone. No is turned away. Since it is universal care, the doctors don't make as much money as in private facilities.. thus over the years many have headed south..

    in Candada there are only in some areas 20 people for many miles doctors do not get enough money or feel useful enough to stay so the amount of doctors is low.when in the usa we have that many people just in California docs make more as well feel more useful it is sad how doctors do not stay in Canada there are less big city's so less hospitals than our own California
