They probably already had this ready for next week because the episode was supposed to be aired next week but got backed up again. Apparently Smallville starts again next week from what I've heard, which is pissing me off, so maybe they think that because Smallville is back so is Supernatural. But no, Supernatural does not air for another Thursday, sorry! =(
