Eliane Elias - Just For You

I was fortunate to see Eliane Elias play live with the group "Steps Ahead" in the 1980's in Charlotte, NC at a club called 'Maynards' on Elizabeth Ave. Sadly the club folded. The group was amazing. It's not everyday that you walk into a music club and see the late Michael Brecker, Michael Mainieri, Eliane Elias, Eddie Gomez and Peter Eskine having sandwiches before playing that evening. They were super nice and were available to the crowd after the first set.

It started with "Light My Fire"...now, I'm working my way backwards. How come I'm just finding out there's this angelic, Brazilian, grew-up-with-bossa-nova-playin­g-greats, jazz-giant, complete-package, send-me-to-the-moon...and back, singer-composer-arranger-piani­st-extraordinaire classy young lady named Eliane Elias? Huh?! I've got every Weather Report album there is. Lee Ritenour. Pat Metheny, etc. etc. etc. Ms. Elias, where have you been all my life? Thanks for some incredible music!

I don't understand why someone would need to read all the comments here to get a response to the direct question,"What does Jehovas Witnesses have to do with music video?"The sugary guitar does remind me of more recent Benson. If it isn't , well big deal!
