Corporations got a little greedy, it seems. That's human nature. I know companies who run off, 95% of them rarely come back and their managers play ping pong all day -with ping pong robot -- at company state of the art health club. Greeeeeeeed is a deadly sin, boys.
Fire them all without a blink. It's worth making an example out of them. No profits for a while until you reestablish your workforce. Do what Ronald Reagan did to the air traffic controllers union attempt. Give the workers the option to come back to work but behave themselves. You must keep your hand strong on these employees, that's what they are.
As a western worker I believe Ford may give in to your demands (thats only about $50 a week (or so)if they won't budge then ask if you can get pay for your brake time, that may open doors, and if YOU'S the workers find a way to help with Ideas to help produce vehicels at a cheaper cost the company may give raises knowing they have people with engineering minds. Help them maybe they'll help you and say SPASIbO and give you more. We work with them and get farther along. GOOD LUCK
WOrkers got a little greedy, it seems. Thats human nature. I know guys who were laid off, go 95% of their pay, and exercised all day and played ping pong all day -with ping pong robot -- at company state of the art health club. Greeeeeeeed is a deadly sin, boys.
Absolutely. Workers of a third world country will never be paid the same as a Western European. Don't be surprised if the plant is shut, and moved to the Ukraine, or Asia.
Russia might not be as comfy as western euro, but it's quite quite far from being the "third world". Regardless, wages there are lower and that is what transnational corporations are exploiting. They'll slow rise (kinda like what happened in India with software, their wages used to be like 1/10 and now are 1/3).

same pay? ridiculous... that's the only reason ford has a plant in russia in the first place - cheaper wages!

russians do have a discent card there, Ford has 3 options, Pay higher wages, higher new unexperienced staff, or have the plant sit dourmant.
