He needs to work on his jump shot. He's talented, but his shooting percentage can get a lot better. If he could get a solid jump shot, he could be really threatening. Right now he's not half as good as he could be, however he is on a bad team. I'd like to see him leave Sacramento or get some better teammates around him so we can see how good he is whether he can be a star or not is still undetermined.
Tyreke Evans is a good player, no doubt about it. He has a lot of talent and skill. But still, I see more upside in Rose. I don't see Evans playing the PG his entire career. I can see them switching him to a 2 guard if they can get a legit PG.
Tyreke is a great player and i think he is gonna be great but honestly he is not gonna come out and be derrick rose-like altleast not yet he still has alot to work on derrick rose was already polished when he came out of memphis in tyrekes case he wont be very effective this season or maybe even next season. but i do see potential and stardom in his future maybe even a future all star but he has to work on his jump shot and his defense and i dont think the kings is a good place for him to start.
@sepin2 you was wrong then a muddafuka lol.........8 months later......tyreke evans r.o.y. and in the same league mj...oscar robertson and lebron!!...peace
actually that 34.5 is his no step vert (which is how vert is supposed to be measured) , even guys like derrick rose, tyrus thomas, t-mac, vince carter all had around 32-34 inch verticals,,,but they also measure running vertical at the combine, and thats how u see guys say they have 40" and up verticals
how would you know he shot over 50% I dont know if you can half you shooting percentage from 3 on a off year no one does that you can have streches of bad shooting but a whole season i dont beleive it
because it's a fact. u can look it up. i have no reason to make these things up. i don't benefit from doing that. also his shooting % picked up a lot once he was moved on the ball. also quite frankly what u believe doesn't matter. his slump was less than a nba season so how is that unbelievable ? before u speak on anything make sure u know what ur talkin about
ok well you might be exactly on the ball to be honest i havent really followed the life of tyreke evans. His slump was over a third of a nba season still i havent seen anyone shoot that bad for that long. Scouts say his jump shot needs work and whenever i see him shoot it im like 'that aint going it' but it doesnt matter it my opinion we will see when he hits the nba if your right or not talk to me then

I think tyreke will be really good, but he's not up there with MJ and Lebron.
He doesn't have that type of offensive polish.
