Shabutie does kickass, there's just not enough of it to be a huge fan for me. I love Coheed so much because they're constantly pushing the limits with both music and story. Hell, if Shabutie was still around and making music, conceptual or not, I'd probably be one of the most diehard fans there are :D

I think Starland was one of the most energy packed shows they've done (that I've seen). And yeah, you're right... They are becoming less Coheed live. Not boring, but less Coheed. Claudio hardly ever attempts the higher notes anymore, and those damn backup singers piss me off... They need to stop worrying about how big a fanbase and how many sales they can get, and start helping out the oldschool fans :]

Regarding Claudio hitting high notes, he has said in an interview that before recording GA2 he had more vocal training that actually "crammed his style", he attributed the lack of high notes to the the "formal" training. I can see what you mean GodSent, bands lose that something when they go from local to big stage, but no never boring.
