I totally agree... Palin has set women in presidential contention back 100 years! Even if she does the right thing and steps down after the debate, it wont matter its very unlikely any future candidate for president will choose a female from no where to run with. Sad but its true.

He answer really isn't a bad answer. She wasn't talking about the immediate effect, but the longterm effect. In the long-term, middle-class America will be better off because interest rates will still be reasonable and they could still get loans.
If the money was given to the middle-class for us to spend it and put it back into the economy, it would just be used up and not even make a real impact. Just look at how the wellfare system sucks the life out of our economy and has for many years

Wolf stayed un-biased. Cafferty was adding his opinion but Palin was incoherent. If you want to see bias bordering on propaganda, Fox"news" spins things to support republican ideology and candidates where in this case Cafferty was commenting on the obvious. He wasn't trying to miss lead.
I suppose your right, but with the news today bias is relative.

Sarah Palin's response rivals only that of the infamous Miss South Carolina.
however, there is some clever editing that was done in this video. every time you see the camera cutting back to Katie Couric, Palin's quotes are being cut together, and some things she said sounded forced, out of place. i haven't seen the full interview yet, but if the rest of it is like this, then CBS sure had their hand in making her seem uninformed.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case. Watch when the camera is on her. She hits us with the 'Oh, it's got to be about job creation' without the camera going back to Couric. She has no idea what she's talking about and is just searching for whatever talking point she was coached to say. The camera never leaves her. She actually is that uninformed. I don't think she needs any help to seem that way to any thinking person.

The presidential elections are a farce and we all know it so why continue to participate in voting for one of the Republicrats. It's time to take out the trash. Dump all but a select few of the incumbent congressmen. Vote independent when possible. You will feel better about your vote. Voting for the lesser of 2 evils is still voting for evil.

Homie ,that act was passed in 1977 and has been amended several times since then. Moreover, I haven't herd one economist point to this specific Act as being a contributer to the current dilemma .
However, a lot of them have pointed to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act passed in 1999 as the main cause. which amended the Community Reinvestment Act in many ways. .
It also went through some more changes from 1989-1994 due to the Keating 5 scandal - McCain was a part of that.
