The reason they do nothing to publicize it in the US is because they fund it here as well through the family court system. Take a look at the Wellseley Battered Mothers study and the resulting court cases. If a woman's complaint about sexual attacks on their child is true, the court takes the child away and gives it to the pedophile in 70% of the cases.
