Everyone thinks that Peterbilt is better then Kenworth... No way. Kenworth was making trucks since 1923. Peterbilt has been making them since 1939. You can't beat a Kenworth, they have the sturdiest frames of all (unless it's a Mack)

@WaWagasman i totally agree with you on that kenworth is one of the companys that make trucking what it is today back then you used to see alot of freightliners they are good as well but really majority of the companys want kenworths because they are dependable reliable and self sufficient and really wont have to worry about breaking down a whole lot

@champ0925 Yes, If all trucking companys had the money to, they would most likley be buying Kenworths. Belive it or not, Freightliner sells the most class 8 trucks. It's because they're relativley inexspensive when you compare them to other trucks, and they are good enough. They don't hold up nearly as well as a Kenworth. I allways see Freightshakers with broken bumpers or cracked sleeper farings, a Kenworth on the other hand, never that.

@champ0925 Kenworth's chassis is fenominal. The double frame is bullet proof. That's why you allways see Kenworth T800's or W900L's doing heavy haul

@WaWagasman its good but the one i have is an auto shift and the one i drove in gulf coast was an auto shift but they are excellent very comfortable and spacey i would defenitely say that thats good truck and it last long to

You should worry about engine choice first...

@RattlingMurdock agreed. Kenworth is the best truck on the road, but the Cat C15 is junk. I would get a Cummins ISX over a C15 any day. Cat should've never stopped making the 3406E. That motor never dies, and it was strong as hell and sounded bad ass
