Just quit charter and they are demanding I return my modem which I purchased outright when i signed up 2 years ago. They are demanding I show them an invoice to prove I actually own it even though their billing department shows its user owned and I haven't paid rent on it in 2 years....
Charter fucking blows!!! Our phone and internet has CONSTANTLY been going out for the past YEAR, they have sent about 8 representatives out to our house in the past year and they don't know SHIT. All they tell you is "oh well you must be bumping into the router, or you need a new one"... We've bought over 3 routers and NOTHING FUCKING HELPS. FUCK CHARTER!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN!! DO NOT GET CHARTER!!! THEY WILL JUST FUCKING IGNORE YOU, THEY JUST WANT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

My iPhone is just fine. It wouldn't be "At&t's" fault if your particular unit doesn't function as it should. If you drop it even once, the delicate electronics could be jarred...it is a computer after all.
As for the Charter thing, NO internet provider is going to support the activities of people who try to rig the system like you're doing. And you're ignorant because Uverse/FiOS is even less likely to accommodate that stuff.

As for charter, im not trying to "rig the system" its a local mac blocker they put in place.. And ive since updated to a server in a hosting environment.. So it works now.

Are you using a business or personal account and regardless, if you're having problems with your current ISP, why not change? You can get an awesome 6mbps DSL connection for the same price as what you're currently paying for bandwidth. =)

I HAVE GREAT NEWS......iam from auburn ala....and our city has VOTED OUT charter and we WON....Our cable will be replaced with a NEW cable / internet company!!....Our city got fed up and tired of charter's bullshit and we did something about it....Their service is beyond horrible and treat u like shit.....lightning quick to disconnect but slow as christmas to reconnect.....well not anymore cause we killed that evil money sucking shitty service.......horaay!!!

so we got rid of charter around february 2011 and replaced it by cde lightband in march 4th 2011

@heywhyareyousostupid The issue wasnt really about the game, it was about the part that i couldn't connect to my neighbor's IP.
And it was the nodes fault, Because they changed something on the note that disabled my hacked modem (LOL)
I had a paid modem, otherwise i wouldn't still be online.. but the hacked one was disabled the same day.

They dont support it and its not on the node its dns most likely. Whats the website if the mx record is not correct it will not be allowed on a charter network. Reason There tired of virus coming thru so they did that to protect you.
