I dropped it on tile, so it was still a hard hit, but from my waist to the ground isn't a real long ways, and a phone should be able to withstand that. If you are looking for a durable phone, do not get this phone.....if you do get this phone though, get the insurance on it for as long as your contract is, you wont regret it

All it took was that one drop for it to get really messed up, so if you are hard on your phones, I suggest you get another phone

A while ago I thought it was in my pocket but wasn't, so I ended up dropping it and it's just been down hill from there.

So it is my fault, but dropping it 2 and a half feet shouldn't break it. It is very fragile

It all depends on what you look for in a phone. If you ever owned the Rant or a phone like that, then I think you will like this phone. If you didn't, then I suggest looking for a different phone. If you do get this phone though, be very careful with it, the workmanship of it is not very good

It all depends on what you're looking fr in a phone. I personally would like the HTC Hero, or maybe the Palm Pre, but those are too expensive for me. In a phone, I look for something more like my iPod touch.

I just suggest thinking about what you look for in a phone and then looking for something within your price range and then go for it.

Thanks, I also think you might like to know, this phone just broke about an hour ago. It was working just fine then all of the sudden no picture and charging it does nothing. I think it might be the battery, but I'm not sure. I'm going to bring it in to Sprint some time soon and hopefully it can be fixed....this phone has caused me so many issues as well as a lot of money....I really do regret purchasing this phone, I wish I could go back and choose a different one.

I wasn't completely clear in that part....I just meant that some ringtones that you can get for free from certain websites won't work, because you are unable to download from the browser....if you get the ringtone sent to you then everything works fine, and you can always buy ringtones from Sprint as well

you can set mp3s as a ringtone, all you do is you go to mem card maniger then my music copy w.e song into my ringtones or dcim whichever you want then you go to rename and you change the .mp3 at the end into .3g2

It can record for a max of a video that is 512kb, but if you are looking to send a video, then it can only be 10 seconds, that is one thing I don't like about this phone.

And I would recommend this phone, but there are certainly better out there, it all depends on what you are looking for in a phone

I've heard some bad things about that Rant, just about everyone who has one says they wish they didn't get it.

As for YouTube, its not an app like on the iPhone....it is just links and a search bar and when you click any of them, it just opens YouTube in the browser

Youtube is alright, as long as you have an unlimited data plan....if not, you will go over your limit VERY quickly

Facebook is good too, I normally just use it to update my status which it does with ease.

it depends on where you are and how good your signal is and all that jazz......there have been some times when a video wouldn't load at all, and there have been times where they load fairly quickly (lets say about 2-3 minutes)

so far I have been very happy with the keyboard, it just takes a bit of getting used to, as for the apps, this phone has you covered with the social networking sites, but for games, I would suggest going with some other phone....I have had the best experience with phones running windows mobile as far as games go, but phones running windows mobile are the worst phones I have owned.

I wouldn't say that it breaks easily, I have had it for about 2 and a half months with no damage to it besides for a few smudges and wearing of the sliders, although, I don't think the phone will last for my whole 2 year contract.

Either way, I would suggest getting the Exclaim over the Rant based on what I've heard and had experience with.
