We use 20kg bags of anfo in our shakers underground. (Copper Underground Mining), To shake down tons of rock...... interesting to see what she does on the surface. For those tree stumps, I would probably use powermite pillow packs (700mm skinny long ones), drill a hole in the stump and blast 2-3 of them. Would blow it to bits without damaging the ground below it. This of course depends what your supplier will sell you. In mining we get what we want lol.

Yes I recommend 2 bags high nitrogen fertilizer and 1 gallon diesel fuel, apply to top of stump and then do your standard 0.20 kg and stand 2 to 3 times the distance away, invite more friends and become professional film makers, I can provide the technical input...

@petzltreeclimber Acetone peroxide is HIGHLY unstable. Apparently it's more sensitive than nitroglycerin. From the little bit I know about acetone peroxide, I would stay away from it. Blowing stuff up might be fun, but it's not fun if what you blow up is your hand.

My father used to crack the stumps with gunpowder from buckshots. (alot smaller stumps). Dont remember how many buckshots he used though. And he only cracked them so it would be easier to take apart and be digged up, he would love to have done this some day
