  • Poor Arch, he was right, he really was 49-years-old here. This aired January 12, 1974, he was born August 2, 1924. He was 49 years, 5 months, 10 days old here.

  • Actually Edith's birthday is January 19, 1923. She was 51 years, 7 days here. They should've been celebrating her birthday here, not Archie's.

  • "butchya been to disney world" hahaha

  • Mr. Quigley likes to butt fuck dudes after they eat a box of laxatives.

  • Quigley can't sing for shit. Good episode though.

  • @DiceEsque sorry you feel that way, he did his best :-) hit the wrong button sorry, meant to vote up!

  • RIP Lionel (Mike Evans). He died really young. So talented as actor and writer. I never understood why he was on and off and back on The Jeffersons. I heard he left showbiz long before he passed, and got into real estate and got wealthy.

  • @theoceanave he was the co-creator of "Good Times". he was busy with that show, when it ended he went back to the jeffersons.

  • "How old are you, 55? 56?"

    I burst out laughing

  • This for all my laughter on the 23 floor cast.....Check it out .....it starts at 3:33 and at 5:17 he says it .. Just like Val.. who .(mel tolkin) and . what .. ? ended up as a writer for .. ALL IN THE FAMILY

    Marlo Brandon

check your script it is on page 17 ..

    miss you all..... d.douglas lukascik

  • I raise my glass to Burt Mustin

  • Archie - "well I mean she left it all in you...your, what you call imagination, see, she left it in your mind, that's where sex ought to be"

Archie - "that was so filthy I nearly walked out of it"

    BWAHAhaha....

  • "He's really a white guy. He only blacks up to make Archie mad!" lol.....so funny!!!

  • "What, who me?" LMFAO

  • also I believe Louise was actually almost 10 yrs older than George, go figure

  • In this episode dated 1/12/74 Jean Stapleton's true age was 51 & Carroll O'Conner was 50.

  • Always interesting Kelseys beer glasses. Not a mug or a standard pint glass. Surely Archie would have thought drinking from a stemmed snifter was for "fehggs".

  • those kind of glasses were sort of a fad-ish style back in the mid 70s. we used to have "coca-cola" versions of those glasses, my parents would get them from the gas station for buying a full tank of gas.

  • @MisterBouncyBounce which was a feat of strength in and of itself in those days lol

  • Pure "pornograffy". He always had a way with his words.

  • Well info I found lists Carroll O'Connor born in 1922, so there appears to be a discrepancy. At any rate, he looks older than 50 and Mike, btw, looks older than 25

  • carroll o'conner and jean stapleton were both born in 1924 and both were born in manhattan. i think jean was just a few months older.

  • Actually Carroll O'Connor was born in 1924 and Jean Stapelton was born in 1923. Carroll O'Connor was 50 the year this episode was taped.

  • Carol O Conner was born in 1920 and so was Jean Stapleton, so they were way over 50 when this was made. I am in my mid forties and they made Edith at least 5 years younger than she actually was. Now, I think that they made them look old for the ages that they wanted them to portray. I do not look like Edith and I don't know any 48 year old that looks as matronly as Edith did.

  • it was the way she was dressed, at least that is what i think it is, i love edith though, my favorite character of the series

  • One of the all time funniest:

"Ahhhh yeah yeah shee! WHAT WHO ME!"

    Also great was:

    Kelsey: "What brings you here?"

Edith: "It was your phone call."

  • is this where he gets sad because he thinks hes getting too old?

  • Women-pause! So true....men dont go thru nothin'! Except when they do go thru mid life crisis thinkn' they can relive their youth. Wouldnt that be nice?!

  • phillygrl69: "So true...men dont go thru nothin'"

Everybody goes thru something. In various degrees and different ways.

    You comment is ridiculous.

  • this was made 35 years ago

  • so you fixed the calculator?

  • has anyone seen him as a young man?

  • DETROITER22, no one has lol. He looked 80 when he was on 'Leave It To Beaver'

  • He was in a Banaza episode, and he was younger!
