  • hi. i've never heard from this organism although i'm a molecular biologist as well. it seems to be a suitable choice for your demonstration. thanks for the response.

    ps. such a heavy metal tolerating microbe might be an interesting target for inorganic synthesis!

  • The reason I picket it was its orgins..something that lives in such a harsh envirnment might have really stable and efficient transporters..
