  • im so glad this guy didnt get elected!

  • wow what the heck

  • Insurance companies should be able to cover whatever they want. They are not a government institution, and if one company wants to cover birth control and another doesnt, then give the former your business and the other will have to go without the costumer.

  • Proof he would've been just another Double-Ya.

I'd rather have an ape then a monkey running the white house.

  • hahahahaha

US prezident's r so funny and stupid...:-))

    except J.F.K.

    US tragiccomedy...

In our country we say..."He is so stupid, that he can´t be even the US president........:-))

  • @vojtexxx his predecessor certainly was... and thankfully, this guy wasnt his successor.

  • so happy he didn win that is what was going to run our country

  • im laughing so much atm i can feel tears on my cheeks.

  • Dude, I want to beat the crap out of this guy, he is such a dumbshit liar.

  • he had better not win, vote Obama. that way we dont have to deal with McCain OR Palin...both r nuts and need to stfu

  • The only way he will 'win' is if they hack the voting machines. So if he DOES win, you now know how it happened.

  • obama is going to win. if mccain is elected, when i turn 18 im moving to england.

  • if mccain gets elected i will try to smuggle myself by train into canada.

  • no need, the border between U.S. and canada isnt a rough border.

  • but CorpMerica(formally the United States) now require passports to leave this country but hopping aboard a freight train will solve that problem.

  • hahahaha, well as long as obama is elected, we're safe :))

  • Get out and talk to people and tell them to watch those suspicious voting machines. Be careful but vote!

  • McCain changes positions to guard his own ass, let him in office and we'll see that regularly.

  • stop the war in iraq.

  • If America votes for John McCain, i'm moving to England!

This fool should have already retired-but still thinking of nothing but war, and revenge to innocent third world countries. All he knows about is the MILLITARY, knows NOTHING about the ECONOMY.

OBAMA even went to HARVERED if you don't know-He just works for the people trust me-Very smart.

You'll see if he wins, i won't be in U.S. though (United States will be bunkrupt).

    Good luck.

  • lol...u can't spell harvard

just thought that was kinda ironic

but i agree with what u said though

    obama ftw!

  • @Stevo203 Not to poke holes on REALLY old posts but...George W. Bush Went to harvard as well. Albeit from the Business school, while Obama came from the Law School.

  • You can always tell when Republicans are lying, they say "I don't recall," or if they feel special "I do not recall."

  • McCain flip flops more than a fish on a deck of a ship.

  • so, irish... you'd prefer that, as taxpayers, we do NOT have insurance companies pay for birth control, not help supply birth control to those who want it and can't afford it, but then we end up paying for all the products of that negligence? yeah, well that makes sense.

are you sure these are the "stupid" people???

  • Whoa, Irish man, you ever met a woman before?

  • Yes, I'm sure all the men tripping all over themselves NEED to have sex, as oppose to just desperately wanting to. Putz.

  • Actually, birth control is very often used to treat certain medical conditions, such as ovarian cysts, which, in my opinion, outweigh erectile dysfunction in urgency.

  • liberatepotatoes: "Actually, birth control is very often used to treat certain medical conditions, such as ovarian cysts, which, in my opinion, outweigh erectile dysfunction in urgency."

roflmao Best reply ever. I completely agree. (I am one of those women whose ovaries failed and must take bc pills to supplement the hormones i need.)

  • to cure diseases cysts and cancers stem cell research should be fully granted that is why I am voting for Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, Or Cynthia McKinney. I refused to donate to Breast Cancer research, prostate cancer research or any other foundation until STEM CELL RESEARCH is fully done INCLUDING using embryos. Don't feed religion down my throat If I wanted that then I would go to Cuba. Our government does not get it. BTW I refuse to fill out the census. Shit I don't serve jury duty, either.

  • Search for "non-contraceptive uses of birth control." If anything, Wikipedia will be able to give you plenty of information on the matter.

Before insulting others' intelligence, make sure you, yourself are knowledgeable about the subject being discussed.

  • Liberatepotatoes is right. Birth control is just hormones. It is used for medical conditions and to help even periods out. It is really common for those not sexually active to be taking it. I think you should learn your facts before making decisions strong enough to post next time.

  • I love to see stuff like this! This guy is a class act!

  • Oh no--he had a Bush moment!

  • Is it me or does he look well over 150 years old?

  • They want more kids in the world on food stamps, and out there on the street begging. I personally think McCain should raise all the children born to teenage moms. Abstenience does not work, when will these holly rollers get the hint. They need to quit rubbing the bible down our faces. Can you believe in 2009 I will be paying for high schools to teach the bible. I wonder if I can stop paying school tax because it is against my religion? I ought to try them on it. My grandad did.

  • No, abstinence works just fine, the problem is that you can't expect teenagers with raging hormones to actually abstain.

  • im a teenager, and yes, we can abstain thank you very much :P it just depends in your religous beliefs and how smart you are.

  • Intelligence has nothing to do with abstinence idiot38 some of the smartest people I know have a new fling every weekend

  • it has a lot to do with intelligence. its smart to do if you cant afford a kid or if your having an "accident"

  • If you use proper Birth Control methods the odds are very slim on having an accident

The pill is 99.8% effective and that is after 1 year having sex at least twice a weak in a monogamous relationship.

Condoms providing they don't break are 97% effective

in combination it would be astronomically impossible to conceive

  • koliebo, that seems to work more in the richer wealthier whiter neighboorhoods such as West Lake Hills, Tx. Try making that same message in a San Antonio, Texas high schools, in Acres Homes, or in Alief, Texas and get back to me, ok. We need to explain to the Hispanic culture it is ok to use birth control lets not wait till we have a Bronx, NY AIDS scare in other parts of the world. We need to have condoms in school and sex ed. Reform of the Food Stamp program, TANF, and CHIP aw well.

  • I said it once and I'll say it a gain, This guy is a joke

  • He's a joke but is more scary than funny.

I find it amazing that the USA with 300+million people have consecutive GOP presidential candidates, with trouble connecting their brain to their tongue.

  • mcain is a fucktard

  • That was ridiculous. He couldn't give a simple answer because he needed to find out what the Neo-cons cronies had to say on the matter, rather than give his own on-the-spot opinion on the matter (I can see Barack schooling this guy in the future, all be it pointless, presidential debates). This mumbling/stuttering McCain shouldn't be President. Ron Paul would have given a much more educated and clearly decisive answer on this issue... But by default, i'll be voting for Barack Obama.

  • I just find it to be extremely insulting to ask a seasoned citizen like McCain about Viagra. I don't care if he uses it or not.

But they don't stop there. They then put this image in his head about taking Viagra and having intercourse with a female who is using birth control.

For any straight male, this is going to cause a form of temporary amnesia and forgetfulness. I find this to be completely normal and there is nothing unusual or alarming about McCain's behavior.

  • You're more of a moron than McCain. God, God, God. Exactly when did "God" say you can't TALK about birth control? Or Viagra? If there is a God in heaven, he or she will save us from fundamentalist morons like you and slow-thinking pols like McCain,

  • Nod nod. yep yep. Rarely i see a sharp, well-educated person commenting on these things.

Cheers man. Lets just hope things work out in November.

  • Joe, thanks for the nod. Planned parenthood is using someof his )non)response in their latest ad. I'd like to see Obama play most or all of his response, then a super of :Do you really want this man as your president?? But unfortunately, that won't happen. Hopefully, Obama '08 WILL HAPPEN!

  • Right on jeffomil! These same morons are letting Texas High Schools teach the Bible, only the bible the state is sponsoring religion and they are not offering a atheist class, or one of Islam? People in Texas should protest by not paying the School Tax and site religious reasons for it. I guess real soon they will go back to White and Colored schools. I am outraged!!!

  • So if someone shouts "SEX!" during a debate, any male will lose all regard to women and their reproductive rights? Is that any LESS sexist? It's a valid question! If men can get viagra then women deserve to get birth control. I would go a step further and say that every woman in America has a RIGHT to affordable birth control. If McCain can't handle "woman with birth control" and "viagra" in the same sentence then he automatically has no business being an advocate for 50% of the country.

  • I'm more concerned with how shitty McCain is as a bullshitter after 3 decades as a politician.

If he can't even do that competently, how is he going to run the country?

  • sexist asshole

  • Fails in his flight mission, get captured and tortured, jepodizes others in attempt to free him = WAR HERO??

  • BdadDrizzle, he has been obessing about this since 1988. See my Larry King Live video on McCain, Bob Beckel It has 2 parts the third one will be posting real soon.

  • ...when asked at a press conference, what he would do about Americas energy emergency, Obama responded "dread road shoe and flipper, blue moon dreads apple cart, tar with cream couch falling over"...when asked by a reporter to explain his comments, Obama ran off the stage, mumbling incoherently....

  • BULLSHIT!

  • I wonder if he'll hem and haw and scratch his chin while he pathetically attempts to remember the launch codes to our ICMB's?

    TIME TO RETIRE!

McCain is a man who will tell us that he's for change and that our government is dysfunctional and that if elected, he'll fix it.

He's been in Congress for 35 years.

HE CAUSED THE PROBLEM...how in God's name does he expect us to believe he's going to fix it?

McCain....PART OF THE PROBLEM....NOT the solution.

  • Time to retire.

  • Hell, McCain can't explain how he even got into the room muchless what and how he's voted in the past. It's all reeeeaaally fuzzy to him just like Bush's whole mindset from beginning to end.

  • eh sonny? in my day, we wrapped a fig leaf around our cock and that was all the birth control we needed!

  • you're the reason why america is stupid. you've bought into this fear mongering bullshit, and you're forgetting about everything else that our nation faces

  • Experienced in what? He has, numerous times, shown he can't keep the facts straight, can't remember, or both. This does not make him wise. Keep thinking out of fear, as our response to the Iraq threat has shown how good that approach works. NOT.

  • His face at 1:14 is priceless.

  • I'd be surprised if he could distinguish his ass from a whole in the ground, regardless of his age.

  • He's old.

    He can't remember.

    Give him a break!

  • Then why elect him President of the most powerful nation in the world

  • Sad part is he has a chance at winning.......god damn we are a fucked up country

  • Unfortunately,I agree with you. Thanks to the dumbya years,we have become a country of bigots and haters.

  • He always comes across as not knowing what he's said, what he's going to say or even where the hell he is-TRULY INSPIRING!!! I can already feel the patriotic goosebump rush coming on- WHERE'S MY FLAG?

  • Dolt.

  • McCain was asked whether or not it's fair for health insurance companies to cover Viagra for men, but not birth control pills for women. The fact that he couldn't answer this no-brainer (of course it's unfair!) but "has to get back" to us on that one speaks volumes about the worth of all the "outreach" he's trying to do to women voters.

  • wow...... wow

  • You gotta love the fact that when asked about his own opinion on the subject, he couldn't answer that.H ow can you be a president if you don't even know what the hell your own opinion is?

  • hahaha fuck McCain. should have nominated Ron Paul you dumb republicans. MaCains almost as bad as Obama. lol

  • He doesnt have his script and his puppeteer Joe Lieberman is not there to wisper the answer, like a manshurian candidate encountering a situation for which hes not programmed ;)

  • And this is the kind of retard running for president?!. He doesn't even know how to handle a key question to his believes.

Ron Paul is the only candidate with solid, consistent, judicious, and honest believes and plans to design a new America... for good.

    -Militante Mestizo

  • Would somebody get this sad old thing some Aricept? Please?

  • I'm surprised insurance companies wouldn't want to cover birth control: since it seems like they'd have to pay out far more money to cover a woman giving birth...?

  • Come on People, he is OLD !

  • Wow what a quick thinker!!!

  • yup this guys definitely fit to be president /sarcasm

  • i will pretty much take anyone except Obama. i'm sorry, but oratory skills do not make a good president.

  • lol..and being a former POW doesnt necessarily make a good president either..

  • pshhh...so wasn't a pow more like treated like a prince while he was there.

makes me ashamed to be a republican tho...

  • "He supports competition in the health care industry?" How is that an answer to any of the reporter's questions? Nice straight talk, Maverick!

  • wow...and I'm supposed to believe there are embittered Hillary supporters who are going to back this guy?!?!?

  • First, McCain is an incompetent douche.

Second, look at CNN's headline for this: McCain Asked About Viagra, "I certainly do not want to discuss that..."

Come on, the reporter was asking more about birth control than viagra. Shame on CNN for taking the story out of context.

  • Embarrassing, just purely, absolutely embarrassing. The more he campaigns, the more he's starting to turn into another Bush plant.

He's a vet and a POW that's all good and all, but the guy can't even do the job he's elected to do as a senator (missing over 60% of votes on key issues), how can anyone expect him to do the hardest job in the world as a president? Anyone with an ounce of IQ can see through that.

  • bruthav

You want to talk about ethics, go look up the Keating 5. McCain also carried on a relationship for 8 years with a female lobbyist. His campaign is filled with bit time lobbyists who lobby for despots and dictators.

  • So much for "straight talk". He can't answer the question because he's on the record begin against health insurance company coverage of birth control. But he can't just say that. And he's not smart enough to think of a good dodge while he's on the spot. Kudos to the reporter for persisting.

  • Too old to be President.

  • SQUIRM! How hard is it to say no the government should not be mandating anything?

And what's up with the news guy at the end saying McCain later says he supports competition, THOUGH we looked it up and he voted against mandating insurance companies cover birth control. Why the THOUGH used like a BUT? Not mandating would mean it's left to market competition.

Slimy, brain dead politician and slimy, brain dead news people. They deserve each other.

  • Folks this all part of his act. He looks puzzled and appears to be candid by saying he doesn't know. Of course he knows how he voted. He's just trying to duck the question.

He's done this before and the media lapdogs just...well....lap it up!

  • Must have been a well thought out, heart-felt vote since he cannot recall it. The guy misses over 60% of the Senate votes you would think he could remember those he attends.

  • "I'll have to get back to you on that"

Translation: I need to go ask an advisor what I should say.

  • i don't understand why folks are gonna vote for this idiot!

  • You know why it took him so long to respond? Because he was thinking what the right thing to say was. McCain's thought process, "Damn, I use Viagra...wait this is a serious question. What is my position on this. Can't say that I am for birth control. Can't offend women. Want to say I'm for woman's equal rights." Finally, duck issue and find something politik to say later after consulting with my PR guy.

  • he is a terrible man. I don' tcare if he was a POW, he is a terrible man.

  • McCain's halting response to this question demonstrates why somebody his age (and getting older every day) should not be president. I'm 51, and my mental acuity is still very good, but not what it used to be. McCain is, no doubt, a very intelligent man. But 72-to-80 year-old brains just don't work as well as 46-to-54 year-old ones. And that's a flat fact.

  • He's not going on Jeopardy!, so I fail to see why the guy must be quick-witted. Maybe Obama's brain is "sharper", but I don't like his thought processes, reasoning skills or his positions on the issues.

  • It isn't about being quick-witted. It is about overall mental acuity. As a psychotherapist, I know precisely what happens to the brain as it ages. I also know that the most gravely important job in the world requires ALL of one's marbles. I have no quibble with you sincerely disagreeing with Obama's positions. But from my anecdotal clinical observations, his thought process and reasoning skills are nothing short of brilliant.

  • Do you think Alzheimer is on the table? I sincerely hope not, but some of his recent behavior, especially this week has been cause for concern...

  • bruthav - We're electing the leader of the free world, not staff members to keep that leader apprised of situations. The question was simple and he dodged it. And is Obama a glorified Jesse Jackson because of his reasoning skills or something else?

  • It was a simple moral question that his campaign rep answered with ease. A "dodge" shows a lack of principle and character for the sake of political expediency.

bruthav - Your comparison of Obama is not an attack on how he communicates but an inappropriate and racially charged assault. You realize you are comparing a Mad TV caricature of black convict to the most eloquent, inspiring speaker in our political era. Obama is far more substantive than McCain, who can only spew GOP talking points.

  • Good God Almighty, bruthav. To compare Obama to Ted Bundy and Hitler. Your post appears desperate and hysterical. First, read Obama's books before you say that he is only eloquent, but empty. You have not done your research. And to compare Obama to Hitler also compares his supporters to the followers of Hitler and I take umbrage to that. Shame on you. Res ipsa loquitur, indeed.

  • It has nothing to do with political correctness. If you want to use racist comparisons or compare Obama to Bundy or Hitler, go ahead. But don't whine like baby when you get called out on it.

  • So it's OK when McCain dodges a question?

You want to talk about judgement?

    McCain..

    - Left his disabled first wife for Cindy.

    - Took favors and contributions from Charles Keating and was reprimanded by the Senate Ethics Committee.

    - Has Phil Gramm as his campaign co-chairman.

    - Courts people like John Hagee.

    - Has missed over 60% of the votes in the Senate.

Looks like you need to do your homework on McCain.

  • I see you don't won't touch any of my other points. It's just the tip of the iceberg. My point which you miss, is that you're willing to give McCain a pass on any moral or character flaw. Why choose the lesser of two evils, if that's how you really feel.

Go vote for Bob Barr, at least he's a true conservative.

  • Furthemore, Robert S. Bennett (yes, the same man that defended Bill Clinton), whom McCain had hired to represent him in this matter, defended McCain's character and was one of many people who criticized the piece. Bennett, who was the special investigator during the Keating Five scandal that The Times revisited in the article, said that he fully investigated McCain back then and suggested to the Senate Ethics Committee not to pursue charges against McCain because of "no evidence against him."

  • Of course he said that you idiot. Hes paid to defend him and would likely say that.

  • And Rezko??? Obama had a 92 minute Q&A session with about 3 dozen reporters from the Chicago Tribune. This is the paper that broke the Rezko story in 2006. He was forthcoming and answered every question according to the paper. It's been nearly two years since the story broke and no new revelations have come from this story.

  • bruthav proves that YouTube comment boards are where America's racists gather in force. You have yet to provide one substantial point as to why Obama's judgment is any worse than McCain's or why McCain would be a better president. Furthermore, your racial language is disgusting, immature, and reflects a deep lack of understanding of America's painful racial history.

  • Wow congratulations on repeating all the right wing talking points.

If you honestly feel that McCain is the lesser of two evil based on those 5 talking points then maybe you should stay home on election day.

  • Spoon fed by you! Don't make laugh. McCain has missed over 60% of his votes including the latest Medicare vote.

I'll be happy to talk about Rev Wright, when you can talk intelligently about the history of African-American churches in this country. If you didn't walk in Wright's shoes as a black man during the 60's you would understand it. The Rev Wright is just your way of deflecting your own racist views, as you have already shown.

  • leader of the free world = roflmao

  • lol

  • I question his reasoning ability. I don't know whether it is the natural process of 'ageing' or something more serious. Possibility it is a residual effect of the torture he experienced. Whatever the cause he is not mentally capable of leading this country.

  • Hmm. Please elucidate your claim that Obama is far from brilliant (have you read his books?) and why you question his ethics, as opposed to McCain's. Offer details, please. And I stand by my statement that, in the last years of his presidency, Reagan was not a competent leader.

  • For someone who's picking the "lesser of two evils" you sure rush to McCain's defense like a paid hack.

  • There is no excuse not to cover BCP's. There are medical conditions that require the use of BCP's that are life saving to women and not at all about birth control itself.

  • God it must be hard to be a Republican and support such embarrassing specimens. Would you hire someone like that to run a cash register?

  • Suck it PUMA lol
