Imperator in latin means Commander, i know Caesar wasn't emperor but Caesar was Imperator of the northern legions meaning Commander. The Roman called Commanders Imperator. Yes Spearmen r great against cavalry but sometimes i hold them off with my cavalry & get behind their lines to flank. i agree SPQR is the best :)

Lools man... when their down with napolean total war... i want them to redo rome total war with better skins and better AI taking off the clones... that would be the best game in the world for RTS nice battle btw

tnkx alot :) the skins in S.P.Q.R. mod r far better than the original RTW onse, the Romans both republican & imperial r exactly the same as real onse, Greeks, Macedonians, persians, carthage & all the others r really cool & look as the same as real in spqr & the spartan hoplites r so awesome with long hair & designed cloaks. I have great respect to whoever made this mod :) btw Napoleon TW? is there a mod called like that? or its empire TW?
