The ultimate abuse is -

To never tell a child that Jesus LOVES them, that he created them unique, special, and for a purpose.

To never tell them that Jesus loves them so much that he died on the cross for them and 3 days later rose again.

To never tell them that in the midst of their lonliness that He is a friend that stick closer than any brother.

To never tell them that the greatest party that will ever take place will be in heaven for ALL eternity.

We are familiar with 'survivor's guilt' and we know that children are so very prone to blame themselves for divorce, the death of a parent or sibling... Yet christians think nothing of teaching even very young children that they are born into sin, that their best virtues are but filthy rags in god's sight, and that they personally are responsible for the betrayal, torture, and death of the best man ever to live. They are taught that they deserve hell. This is evil. This is child abuse!
