  • Unforunately that is not exactly like shooting live game, the wings of a bird protect it significantly.

  • @SlingJim i know its not exactly the same but theres not much in it, a couple of extra feathers wouldn't make much difference lol, the 12mm leads and 14mm steels was going through easy, i'm more than sure it would do the same if it had feathers and wings ;)

also my gamekeeper bands have been changed sinse this video and are putting out about a extra 40fps ;) all the best - john

  • NICE!!!!!!!

  • @malthazar1111 thanks

  • how do i find your ebay account?

  • Disclaimer: No animals were harmed during the making of this video. ;)

  • Hey I was wondering if it is able go shoot ons of your catapults by holding it with my left hand and pulling with the right ? Or are they only right handed?

  • @EpikSkape You can shoot them in any hand, thanks john

  • @OLDMANSBALLBAG i just bought one of your pocket poachers...but i got really little ammo i bought from walmart...where do you get your ammo? and what kind would you recommend for bird hunting?

  • @rustlerbadass i would recommend at least 12mm to be honest, john

  • @OLDMANSBALLBAG ok, where do you buy them at?

  • @rustlerbadass ebay, dankung(dot)com , trulytexas(dot)com , vendors at slingshotforum(dot)com, hope i helped :)

  • @RH697 thank you, some cool slingshots on them sites...idk what im'a do bout ammo yet seems kinda pricey...probably stick with free ammo...rocks :D

  • nice vid john mate,,yep i aggree mate the good old 12mm lead takes some beating,it seems to be the best balance between speed and impact weight,

    atb,,wayne.

  • That bird is definately stone dead , LOL , .........nice ammo comparison , ...thanks for sharing ! Cheers , diemai

  • good vid

  • Nice vid, where do you get your leather from for your pouches?

  • Did you use your'e slingshots to defend your'e self against looter?

  • good vid john but as ive always said the .44cal i use will take some beating - the smaller steel 9mm are ok if you wanna knock feathers out without hurting ur prey or target shoot as theyre simply not heavy enough to kill out right-stick to the bigger ammo as this videos proved - feelin sorry for that chicken it wouldve been better on crusty bread with a bit of salt lol-see u soon john and great vid as always

  • @we66y357 yeah i prefere the larger ammo aswell, it takes some serious power to go through all that meat, also theres the ribcage that it had to go through, i think a gamekeeper catapult and 12mm lead balls would take any game :)
