Well I've never had a problem out of Yamaha, from my Blaster, YZ125, and R6. I don't like arguing which one is faster and which one sounds best blah blah blah, it's all about which one fits you best. The YFZ450 fits me best IMHO, I'm not much of a fan of the KFX450 because it's not wide enough for my liking. Nice quads though, none the less.

if its your first quad id go with a 300ex or a 350 raptor... if you want go with a 400ex. top speed of 300ex is about 55 mph and 400 ex will hit 60's and 70's. your 250 might do 45 top speed. it also depends on what kinda of riding you want. also thats if they are bone stock. with aftermarket parts and motor work you can have a fast machine and still be able to play.
