  • So one of the lamps has an electronic starter built in?

    Did you change the starter yourself or was it sold like that? I have never seen any two pin PL lamp with electronic starter, cool.

  • @MSDOS6 The lamp has it built in. Where the glowbottle normally would be, it instead has a little circuit board. It is the only "biax" lamp I have that way, but I have one Panasonic "quad" PL lamp that is the same way. The number for it is FQ13E27.U/2 It is made in China, so its quality is questionable, but it starts just like the one in this work light and plugs into a standard 2 pin 'biax" 13 watt base.
