  • Now I'm craving brownies!!! :P

  • hi... i made these brownies yesterday ..they came out good.. but was little bit oily at the surface ...what went wrong.. i used hung curd for this ...

  • hello, in your earlier comments you mentioned replacing tofu with yogurt, do you mean the normal nestle dahi or something else ?

  • First time I made it it was a fail. Do u have any suggestion why my brownie top burns when the inside is cooked :(

  • @NIKII28 yoghurt can be subsityte

  • @NIKII28 use yoghurt after draining the water

  • Can the Tofu be substituted with Sour Cream or Wipped Cream ?

  • Thanks you! You are amazing! Keeo it up :)

  • i just made these brownies they are very good! i didn't have vegetable oil so i used olive oil so that works too :)

  • aunty what is tofu??????

  • I plan to make this for my family. I need test subjects and I can't eat all this chocolate by myself at my house. I think my dad will love this!

  • 1 cup of sugar!! That's a lot of sugar!

  • @halifaxx55 This is a great recipe, I used yogurt (instead of tofu b/c it was what I had on hand), I used 3/4 cup sugar. So yeah, if you use yogurt instead of Tofu you use less sugar. Maybe w/ the tofu u might need the full cup.

This is so quick, easy to make & delicious, I love the idea of using the tofu next time b/c of the protein, so healthy. I hadn't made brownies is years, but eggless sounded soo good. I've got to double the recipe and freeze some for later next time. YUM!!

  • Hi Aunty,

I made this recipe today and its finished before evening is through!! Very tastey, for me ill just use a bit less sugar...and i made it with yogurt!!Delicious :)..... youre a wonderful soul :).

  • These look great. I'm going to try them. Oh and one more thing. That mango pie you made, I get requests from friends to make it for them. Thanks again.

  • Aunty, can we use normal tofu and just blend it up to get the silky tofu?

  • this one would be very handy for vegetarian people. No more depriving yourself from the silken chocolate brownies.

  • any other option for that silken tofu? plain yoghurt?

  • hi

brownie didnt come take out properly in pieces it was hard to take piece...taste was good any suggestion

  • @gsupraja Brownies should be at room tempreture before cutting.

  • aunty first u said baking soda. then while u putting the ingredients u said baking powder? which is right?

  • @shillyjk Baking soda

  • @manjulaskitchen i baked these brownies and they turned out just awesome:) a few changes were made ,reduced the sugar as i added choco chips and when i doubled the quantity i reduced the oil.i used plain yoghurt as getting silken tofu was difficult. The most perfect eggless brownie a big hit with my family.keep posting some more eggless cakes.Thank u veeerry much:)
