hi... i made these brownies yesterday ..they came out good.. but was little bit oily at the surface ...what went wrong.. i used hung curd for this ...
@halifaxx55 This is a great recipe, I used yogurt (instead of tofu b/c it was what I had on hand), I used 3/4 cup sugar. So yeah, if you use yogurt instead of Tofu you use less sugar. Maybe w/ the tofu u might need the full cup.
This is so quick, easy to make & delicious, I love the idea of using the tofu next time b/c of the protein, so healthy. I hadn't made brownies is years, but eggless sounded soo good. I've got to double the recipe and freeze some for later next time. YUM!!
I made this recipe today and its finished before evening is through!! Very tastey, for me ill just use a bit less sugar...and i made it with yogurt!!Delicious :)..... youre a wonderful soul :).
These look great. I'm going to try them. Oh and one more thing. That mango pie you made, I get requests from friends to make it for them. Thanks again.
@manjulaskitchen i baked these brownies and they turned out just awesome:) a few changes were made ,reduced the sugar as i added choco chips and when i doubled the quantity i reduced the oil.i used plain yoghurt as getting silken tofu was difficult. The most perfect eggless brownie a big hit with my family.keep posting some more eggless cakes.Thank u veeerry much:)
Manjula! You are the best as always! I think it will be fun to try something vegan for a change that tastest good. Im from BC, Canada. Your videos have really helped me start to learn how to cook indian food. Now i can impress my indian neighbours :D Thank you,

Aunty, can we use normal tofu and just blend it up to get the silky tofu?
sherrysunset 5 months ago
this one would be very handy for vegetarian people. No more depriving yourself from the silken chocolate brownies.
