  • for me this was a big game.after what nebraska had done to us in the'72 orange bowl.i was so happy to see us beat nebraska like this.

  • All-time record, Bama 3 wins, Cornhuskers 2. Man greymoose, it's so sad and immature that you would say something like that. People lost friends and families and thousands of lives were destroyed. You say this over a football game?

  • The Johnny Rogers talk was officially stopped on this night. The Tide defense buried the Cornhuskers 20-3 and it wasn't that close.

  • @RedElephantStampede Moron Johnny Rodgers didn't play in this game. Rodgers schooled Bama in the 72 Orange Bowl.

  • @AKINZJ1 Hey moron idiot, idiot moron, the "Johnny Rogers" talk WAS referring to the '72 game. For 6 years that's all we heard. Here's 25 cents: go buy a clue.

  • @RedElephantStampede Well considering he wasn't in the game it still sounds idiotic and since you didn't include that info it was easy to misread your post. By the way idiot and moron are redundant dumbass.

  • @AKINZJ1 It's idiotic that I'm actually engaging in this conversation.

  • I miss the good old days when top 10 teams employed the Triple Option. More option clips, please!

  • This was a pretty good FBS Rivalry in the 1970s

  • Is it just me or were the crimson jerseys Alabama wore back then a little darker?

  • Interesting matchup but I doubt Alabama has played Nebraska much

  • @FRSFreeStatePlus It takes 2 to play.

  • at 6 :42 # 33 knocked the shit out of a nebraska player. Hit him in the mouth. Might be pickin up teeth off the turf after that

  • also, notice no graphics on the screen. the good old days of football, before ESPN

  • ahhh, the good old days when there was a halftime show and those idiots in the booth shut the hell up for 20 minutes.

  • Alabama, the REAL Big Red!

  • One of the early appearances of the infamous Rainbow Man at 2:17

  • Bamagoalpoast- my apologies to you if certain discussions (involving language) on your page were offensive.

  • Krause, Junior, Lyons, Stephenson, Nathan, et all....what a team.

  • @NOStyC5 All star line up.RTR

  • This one healed some old wounds. TOTAL domination by the "red wood forest" defense. Roll Tide!!

  • @WillHear432 Yeah, and weeks later the mighty Men of Troy from Southern California dominated the Crimson Turds just like they did in 1970. The Trojans owned Legion Field and the UAT Crimson Turds!!!

  • @greymoose1000 Just like we kicked southern cows ass in 71 and 77, I think ALABAMA'S record against south cow is 5-2. Congrads on your stripped title 04.

  • @greymoose1000 If memory serves me however the last time we played each other The Tide buried the "used Trojan rubbers" 24-3 at the 1985 Aloha bowl.

  • @WillHear432 Once again, the discussion centered on the 1978 season. Just like a UAT Crimson Turd sidewalk fan (one who either did not attend nor did they graduate from UAT) to attempt to move the discussion from the main focus of attention here. USC buried the Turds at Legion Field that year (the MOOSE was there with about ten thousand other SC fans on the Eastern side of the stadium (the MOOSE also has a photographic memory along with a genius IQ) and the final score of 24-14 was worse!!!

  • @greymoose1000 Well no, I did not attend the UA, that is correct, I graduated from Miss. St., not that that's any of your business...I released the information because I felt like it. However, I have attended close to 80 games (either at T-Town, Legion Field, or away games) since 1976. Stay tuned...

  • @WillHear432 How quaint, a Bulldog piece of shit from Miss. State.

  • @greymoose1000 TROLL ALERT

  • @WillHear432 Ask the Good Lord to allow you to count your blessings in that the MOOSE of USC chose to respond to your rants.

  • @greymoose1000 You are correct, let us stay "on topic" and talk the 1978 season. I can read you like a crappy novel: I know your motive here. You want me to say that USC deserved the 1978 National Championship out-right would that be correct? I think it is. Well now...It's not my fault (nor any other Alabama fans fault) that USC had it's ass whipped 7-20 by Arizona St. late in the season. Also, USC lucked out in the Rose Bowl because Charles White CLEARLY fumbled at the goal line.

  • @WillHear432 The Men of Troy make our own luck.

  • @greymoose1000 Well, allow me to say this: in the coming years USC is going to need more than LUCK to field a team worthy of being called mediocre. As far as 1978 is concerened, Bama was #2 and we beat undefeated #1 Penn St. 14-7. End of story, we beat #1 in the Sugar Bowl...PERIOD. Choke on that slapnuts!

  • @WillHear432 Perhaps the next time God decides to send a tornado through Tuscaloser you will receive a direct hit and then a complete enema can be concluded.

  • @greymoose1000 You know, I know some Auburn fans who would spit on the Bear's grave that would also tear you a new asshole for mocking the tragedy of April 27. Get a life loser. Like it's been pointed out: Yes, you did beat Alabama, but USC lost miserably to Arizona St. and Alabama earned a share of the title with the Sugar Bowl win.

  • Jerry Pate at 6:02, looks like he bet on Nebraska. Thanks for the video. RTR

  • More great work from the archives. Thank you and ROLL TIDE ROLL!

  • @jettyman54 RTR!1
