  • I confirm that this track is extract from "Les Mystérieuses Cités d'Or", the japanese/french anime TV Series (1982).

    It's name is "La Tempête".

  • NYAH!

  • Has anyone here besides me sees that when ever Snake Mountain shines SO BRIGHT when they show it?

  • I remember this tune. It's amazing how these themes, it's like they encapsulate your childhood.

  • Whhhhat?! I want this!

  • Blast from the past! :D

  • This is "The Tempest" from The Mysterious Cities of Gold.

It was written by Shuki Levy though, who did the music to loads of 80's cartoons - MCOG, He-Man, She-Ra, Inspector Gadget, etc.

@Cathain78 We cant forget about Ulyseess 31. LOL.

Glad to See someone knows about Shuki Levy and the amazing compositions he produced.

I came to the same conclusions about this piece many years later when i grew up and watched The Mysterious Cities Of Gold in its entirety again and realized this was the same incidental music used in Filmations He-Man.

    Great piece.

  • this music was used in the cartoon "the cities of gold".

  • Perfect quality man, I have a version off of a record which I used to make a He-Man 2k Snake Mountain music video, but it has crackles from the wear on the record but this is perfect quality.
