Hello: Great job on car pictures I had forgoten they made a 440 duster I think thats whats what I saw. It was real fun to ride and drive those cars back in the go days. It's good to make it through the day with akes and pains I'm 60 ...Cool music too ..Have a nice day Hank...
Hank C.
Hallå 'krilleanna'! Tyvärr är ingen av bilarna i videon mina! Men jag har foton på dom jag ägt, så eventuellt att dom kommer med i nå'n kommande video!
Ha en störttrevlig helg with lots of great music & V8 roar (?). Your friend, Hank C.
Rick, as usual you hit the target right on the spot (or vice versa?). I do like muscle cars and have own some of the most 'fearful' ones in my time, incl. an original Shelby Cobra!!!! Man, that one was DANGEROUS!! The speed tickets got too frequent with time though, so I settle for something not quite as horrific as that one! Thanks for 'the usual praise', pal, you know I appreciate it 100%!! Hank C.
Thanks for posting this great video of the older cars. I really enjoyed watching it. I give U 5 *****. May God Bless You. There was sure some pretty ones in there.
Thanks yet again, Darlene, for your heart warming comments! I appreciate 'em very much, indeed! "Hot Wheels Boogie" have a very intricate history behind it! It was initially called "Alley Cat Boogie" when I recorded the 'backing' to it in the late '70s, but then I sold my entire studio & guitar collection in the early '80s and didn't add the lead guitar to it until 10 years later, on a borrowed guitar! Reg. the vid, I thought muscle cars fitted the music pretty well, so, there you go! Hank C...
Thanks, Darlene (what a beautiful name, by the way!). Yes, I thought it was pretty appropriate, especially as I happen to love muscle cars and the roar of a big block V8. I used to have a customised TransAm once (really a copy of the one used in the movie 'Smokey & The Bandit'), but that was quite a few years back! Take care & God bless, Hank C...
Thanks a lot, Jan! Yeah, I like to give some background info to each song, as I believe this will make the listening experience more interesting. You, for one, is a living proof to that, Jan! Have a great weekend! As for myself I'll try to live through "Happy Birthday To You" in all kinds of tunings, I reckon (lol!),as it's my birthday today! My, doesn't time just fly by! All the best, Hank..
I assume you mean Johnny Fortune? Nope, I'm not 'associated' with him in any way! Since your age tells me that you weren't around when my million seller, "Spinnin' Rock Boogie", was sweeping through the UK isles (aka hit charts) in '76/'77, check it out somewhere else here on YT. And, above all, Keep Rockin'!! Best, Hank C...
Thanks a lot for the super comment!! I'm a HUGE fan of big block Muscle Cars and really appreciate what you cats over in Norway are doing to keep my music (and the cars!) alive!!
KEEP CRUISIN' & KEEP ROCKIN'!! Your friend, Hank C...
Hey, Erik! I liked that one a lot (especially the music, LOL!!!!). I wonder how those
'buggers' felt after the 'dance', phew!! Did you speed the video up to sync with the music, or..?
Anyway, great job, pal! Put this one up as a 'regular' vid! I even liked the sound (GOOD GRIEF, am I brainwashed or what?). Stay on it, cat..stay on it! Hank C...
No, I did not speed it, stole it from a documentary. I just thought about this song, when I saw the clip. And then I just added Marylin Monroe. So Look Out Heart!!!
This video, in particular tells me that your audio and video are 100%. The racing car Stereo audio was great - L-C-R audio . Felt like I was at the side of a race car track!!!
The video is CRISP and clear. The audio might be a wee bit over-modulated though;but OK.
Thanks a lot for the in depth review!! The drag strip racing car Stereo audio was in fact made up of both mono (from the video clip) and stereo (from the music track). What you describe as L-C-R is in other words coming from the music audio, but it blends in
quite nicely with the mono sound from the video clip. What you refer to as 'over-modulated' is in fact a phase problem. But, what the heck, it's only rock'n roll, so... Take care & keep in touch, I enjoy your comments. Best, Hank C...
Rock and Roll baby!! Super music (as always from you). I love the cars, takes me back to the beginning of the 80s, where a lot of my friend drove american cars. You really rock Mr. Hank C. Burnette.
THE BESTEST OF THE BEST of your masterpieces !!!!!! GO HANK GO !!!!!!! ♥ ♥
