I agree with you,our fans were awful last night.And I was,as you were,shocked at the tribute video.He did more than what was shown,and I thought it was a disgrace.But did you not notice how we did get loud when Claus and Matt Le Tiss came on?

Trouble is southampton gave celtic the home end , thinking that they would fill it!! Which they filled half of it! So puts a few home fans off going! I thought quite good atmosphere helped by the away fans! Better atmosphere in the championship though!!!!

Yeah the thing is, the Northam stand is our vocal stand where all the vocal fans stand (not sit) and sing for 90 minutes (type 'Northam Stand' in YouTube for more information...

So basically because the vocal fans had NO Northam to sit in, they either didn't turn up to the game in the first place or just sat in random places in the stadium, therefore being spread out and not being as loud as what the Northam would usually be like.

Its a shame really and a poor decision by Saints.

ye i was in the northam stand when we were agesnt west ham i love the atmosphere lol even though are loss agesnt stoke you can see southampton have done alot of good chemistry with there team work
