Some embarrassing facts - the world was warmer at one time way before the industrial revolution. Please explain how we KNOW that we are causing this now when we clearly did not cause it before? Sea levels have not changed appreciably for some time (look at how well the continents still fit together). As the ice melts in the north, sea levels may actually be dropping as the land is not pushed down by the heavy ice.

Second - we should move on to other options regardless and most importantly reduce or consumtion and wasteage.

The point isn't to convince anyone. The Yes Men are pranksters, the objective is to irritate fully deserving targets and get laughs out of their ridiculous overreaction. As a side-effect, certain ugly truths are often revealed, such as stock prices falling because their shareholders get word that the company they're trading in is no longer lying through their teeth for profit.

I wasn't refering to this particular instance in regards to the stock market. It was when the Y-Men posed as a Dow spokesman and accepted full responsibility for the Bhopal disaster and offered a 12 billion dollar compensation package. Dow lost 3% of their stock value and the Yes-Men were investigated for suspected insider trading(which they pointed out says a lot about neoliberal society).

Great that this guy was busted on the spot and that the fake reporter asking about "climate change" was never answered.
That climate change has happened in the past is easily demonstrable. As glaciers recede we find evidence of past settlements so the earth was clearly warmer before.
The questionable "science" is therefore not that climate change happens, but rather the wild/doomsday predictions that are made as well as the falsehood that this is necessarily caused by mankind.

Some embarrassing facts - the world was warmer at one time way before the industrial revolution. Please explain how we KNOW that we are causing this now when we clearly did not cause it before? Sea levels have not changed appreciably for some time (look at how well the continents still fit together). As the ice melts in the north, sea levels may actually be dropping as the land is not pushed down by the heavy ice.
If you are still capable of free thought check out some of the contrary evidence.
