Its a lake that has been frozen for millions of years however the ice only covers about 1.9 miles deep of the roughly 3 miles of fresh water under it. We'e using it as a proving ground for an expedition to Europa. We are trying to figure out how to penetrate the ice and enter the lake without contaminating it with life from the "outside world". I don't understand what the lie is most of Antarctica is frozen so of course it looks like that from space. I really don't think we understand everything about Antarctica though. I like Charles H. Hapgood's idea that there was some sort of civilization there that the survivors of helped build the Great Pyramids and other great wonders, as well as civilization as we know it. Somehow the continent slipped down to the south pole and destroyed that civilization.

There are a number of different countries including Canada, France, and USA to name a few that are based in Antarctica. Most say its for observing weather pattern and the changing of the ice flows themselves. Not sure what this video is trying to prove but there are plenty of video documentary of PEOPLE living in Antarctica for the above reason to do receive many supplies and personnel via USAF.

Great pictures in the first part. Were those real pictures of a crashed UFO and of stone faces? It was difficult to figure out what you were doing on Google Earth though. I saw something like the Great Wall of China and a couple of really tall pole-shaped objects.

I was listening to an interview of Clif High, the web bot guy, and he said that someone sent him some interesting photos taken in Antarctica. The photographer and the group he was hiking with strayed into a forbidden area, and saw huge pyramids- bigger than Cheops. He took photos and not all of them were found and confiscated. Clif said that the guy sent some to him. I wish he'd post them!
