But for me it's not as "metal" as say Melecesh, Meshuggah, Opeth, etc. I'd hardly place Slipknot in the same category as Iron Maiden, Slayer, Pantera, Dio, etc. either. It's all just music, yes. But for me alone, most of these "nu-metal" bands are quite tame in comparison, lol. IMHO, They are no "metal" at all. it's just by what Wikipedia says it to be as, lol.
