  • Thanks! I listening to this when I get suffer a lot.....

  • So beautiul........

Is possible to get lirycs in Original Language, is that Japanese?

    Thank you very much.

  • So long as the SUN and the MOON shine, DHAMMA shines ! _/\__/\__/\_

  • Good in the Beginning/Middle/Ending...It dissolve the " pressure" within us. _()_

  • Very lovely - Appreciate the English subtitles. Hopefully she can tour America one day with maybe a dance troupe.

  • So peaceful

  • The music is good, but the accent sounds too alien. I had a tough time to understand the word "puggala" the way it was pronounced.

  • trickster?

  • great song for meditation!!! relaxes the mind

  • Buddhism is a peaceful religion. Everything in it is peaceful.

  • @inuyakino But Buddhists go and kill a 100,000 Tamils in one go just because they did not like what the Tamils ere asking for.

  • @alfulani5 where and when? I don't think they were buddists

  • @inuyakino Sri Lanka

  • @alfulani5 well, I heard they were not Buddhists. I will not tell you what religion it is but I have to say the murders were not done by Buddhist hands

  • @inuyakino Well you heard it all wrong!! Sinhalese are 90% Buddhist and 10 % Christian. And SL armed forces are close to 95 % Buddhist.

  • @alfulani5 well Sri Lanka is a buddhist country after all... any way, In myanmar we have this spirit which is Indra in hindu and so on

  • @inuyakino My point is Buddhists have no motivation to follow the rules of Buddhism, and it makes them hypocrites who DONT practice what they preach.

  • @alfulani5 you are so persistent about making Buddhists, criminals. If you are so intolerant about us then what religion are you? You talk highly about the past. But you have missed out one point. If you say the ugly scars of the past and blame it on the future, you are an highly intolerant person, no difference from any dictators or terrorists. and that gives the religion you serve under, a bad name. If you are a Buddhist yourself, then you have betrayed Buddhism.

  • @alfulani5 by the way, I am her niece. Six years old ^J^

  • @alfulani5 I have always been inspired by the spirit of practice around me- if you don't see it, you aren't looking in the right places. Sometimes we get in our own ways. Investigate your own mind to understand why you choose not to see the enormous explosion of positive energy that is Buddhism

  • @alfulani5 simply because some buddhist facts and hindi facts coexists with each other

  • you can find the mp3 audio at the Buddhanet website

  • can i know where i can download this. love it so much!

  • can you please tell howto download MP3 for this vedio clip ?

    budusaranai

  • @abcaruni use the lasted Realplayer or google it. I found the MP3 there on the Net. Good luck.

  • all my love to the world.

  • thank you..i like this version..have a peaceful time...:)

  • Lovely. Simply loving. Thank you for sharing! Namaste.

  • LOVE :)

  • Sadhu ... may all beings be happy

  • Let all spread love, peace, compassion and take care of one another..may light and delightful energies prevail around this universe.

Love all that the Buddha stands for... peace and brotherhood to mankind

  • English version better than myanmar version.

    Thank for upload.

  • The Buddha was actually told followers not to take his word for anything, but for discover for themselves whether his truth was also theirs. He discouraged blind obedience. It's too bad all religions can't say the same.

  • Abraços from Brazil

  • so peaceful song. May Buddha bless u all.

  • Time to Reflect:

Some people spend inordinate amounts of time and energy upset, angry, or frustrated by other people’s thoughts and behaviors.

But to what end? Why should we, by default, believe we can change another person’s — an independent, thinking self just like us — behaviors and thoughts with just a few choice words? In the end we must remember that one of life’s hardest lessons to learn is that you can only change yourself.

  • @Thia131121 , Indeed ! Very simple but filled with wisdom..

  • thank you so much for the upload. But i dont understand why there are ppl talking bad things here and yelling about religions..look at the english subtitles they are so peaceful and wishing every living thing on this universe to be free from our daily metal and physical suffering. What is more We, The Buddhism never said bad things about other religions so do as our Buddha himself and 17 ppl got it so wrong for disliking this video or may be they dont understand the english at all.

  • @MrRapperb Those 17 people may be Christians or Muslims. Christianity and Islam are the religions of foolish people.

  • The world desperately needs our loving-kindness; the more we can generate, the better. May those who feel anger, learn patience; may that patience turn into goodwill; may the goodwill blossom into loving-kindness.

  • sa thu

  • The Buddha have taught us to be mindful and aware of all things, Buddhism is an education on life journey's, how to be at peace with oneself and others as well,

Those who followed have benefited from the teaching from the buddha, especially to be mindful of the cause and effect. We realize this world is only co temporarily existence from life after life until we have counter life and death circle.

  • Happy Wesak today to all. Pray for peace please

  • 17 people dont have a heart

  • Eleven benefits to practicing Metta (loving kindness meditation: 1 You will sleep easily 2 You will wake easily 3 You will have pleasant dreams 4 People will love you 5 Devas (gods or angels) and animals will love you 6 Devas will protect you 7 External dangers, such as poisons, weapons, and fire, will not harm you 8 Your face will be radiant 9 Your mind will be serene 10 You will die unconfused 11 You will be re-born in happy realms

    (fr Anguttara Nikaya 11.16)

  • @impermanentoo

I dont know if this counts as Metta practice but I recently started reciting and practicing the 8 verses of mind transformation. I've been having pleasant dreams and sleeping peacefully too n_n

  • @Chichiri520 Any good thought would generate positive energy. This positive energy will make us feel happy & sleep well. This what Buddha meant by good kamma. Kamma is simply positive & negative energy

  • you are like the monkey, who worship the monkey has eyes but does not see, has a mouth but not ablation, has ears but can not hear, it is not cleaned their layers of dirt can not.

  • "you are like the monkey, who worship the monkey has eyes but does not see, has a mouth but not ablation, has ears but can not hear" vomited insolently by the fool Jonathan.

"So long as an evil deed has not ripened, the fool thinks it as sweet as honey. But when the evil deed ripens, the fool comes to grief" Lord Shakyamuni the awakened one talking about Jonathan known as the Insulter Fool-Sama : )

  • @Road2Kamakura "the fight the balance the neverending evil will only end when he is slain and peace will rain from the heavens and no evil will come up from the world for their is no evil left to spare"

  • @jonathan21557 Jonathan, what do u know about buddhism, huh? First of all see your own religion and then say about other religions. Your name is Jonathan, u might be a christian. Let me remind u that christianity is nothing in front of Buddhism.

  • you are like the monkey, who worship the monkey has eyes but does not see, has a mouth but not ablation, has ears but can not hear, it is not cleaned their layers of dirt can not

  • pagan Adalar a piece of stone.

  • @jonathan21557 There is no God all phenomena we know about can now be explained by science up from the rainbow that holds your God's anger in mythical stories to how we evolved from primitive ancestors. Pagan is a word invented only by abrahamic religions guess where the funny side is here?! They Accuse each other through this mythical word and then spits it all out on each other LMAO!

  • @jonathan21557 Also, if me reciting few words before a statue means that I'm worshiping it then you are a worshiper of a filthy wall or primitive wooden crossed torturing device now get lost before you embarrass yourself anymore.

  • @Road2Kamakura that is an abomination to be compared to a picture, or image form, man

  • @jonathan21557 You are a worshiper of a ghoul savage bloody filthy racist God who exists only in your ridiculous silly good for nothing fairy tales written by Bandits, murderers, warlords, rapists and slave owners. Science has raped your religion upside down by Biology, Geology, Cosmology..etc Your insane God exists only in your psychopathic mind filled with trashy myths therefore vomiting words like Idols, images and pictures is irrelevant let alone to say meaningless.

  • @Road2Kamakura i have huge amounts of respect for the hindu people i mean huge amounts

but if you are referring to the catholic God my God then you are wrong when you say our God is more far fetched and racist all kinds of people can be catholics but only indian people can be hindu now which Gods are racist

hmmmmm also saying pictures and images are irrelevant making your faith and religion irrelevant as well

all we have to worship in every religion is images, idols, pictures, song that is all.

  • @TheMuffinator100 , What Buddha himself preached to all non- believers & believers alike, in his Karlama Suttra, was "Remarkable". He said ( Do not believe just because your parents, your loved ones, your king, your fellow scholars, your teacher (that is Buddha himself )etc. told you to do so. Only when, the practice of Dhamma, tested for one's peaceful existence as a human being with oneself and the rest, one must believe). He wants all to be totally independent .There's no Doctrine in Buddhism

  • @Road2Kamakura

Religions that demonize others just for not believing in their certain creeds are the ones to be wary of. Religions which encourage learning about others and embracing them as well, are the ones we should learn from ^_^

  • Effectively blessing every single sentient being, thank you proudtobepalaung, and thank you Buddha.

  • hemelse muziek

  • _(♥)_

  • great message...

  • Anyone have any links on whr to download this song..? :)

  • Peace to all my buddha friends!!! Comrades!!!

  • I have shared this video in my facebook.

  • @Numcheo SADHU ! SADHU ! SADHU !

  • I have shared this video in my facebook.

  • Ok

I will share this video in my Facebook.

  • Oxford University Has Published A Book "THE MAKERS OF THE UNIVERSE", In Which They Have Enlisted 100 People Who Gave Remarkable Contribution To The World Over The Period Of 10,000 Years, Which Is Admired By The Entire UNIVERSE. In this List 1st Name Is "GAUTAM BUDDHA" & 4th Is "Dr. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR" For Their Principle Of SAMATA Which Is The Universal Solution For todays Burning World....

    Namo Buddha! Jai Bhim!!

  • may you all be free from suffering and much peace

  • @Jimenykrickets are you wishing us to be free from peace AND suffering? :P

  • @zyun158 I think he means for you to be at peace, and free from suffering.

  • buddha was born in our country nepal....live peace give love...stp hatred thats whats buddha has told us..........

  • Buddha was born a human but rose to the level of god by the power his intellect.

That is better than "gods" who" come down" to mankind from above.

    Azzy says.

  • @azzy314159 No one cares.

  • Thank you, thanks very much indeed. I heard this song somewhere several time but has never known the name. I;ve tried to find CD but unable to. Now I can add to my favorite and listen to it often. Appreciate your posting and the English substitute. Now I know what it is about. Sadhu..

  • Sadhu,Sadhu,Sadhu.Imee Ooi devine voice! Every time my family watch loving kindness- metta song felt happyness.we wish long live imee ooi.Buddha great & greatest, Dhamma great & greatest Sangha great & greatest.

  • Sometimes a new concept has to be watered down a bit until people unfamiliar with it develope a taste for it. Easing someone into a new state of mind is more effective than hitting them over the head. Rock and Roll music probably wouldn't have taken such a hold on American culture if it hadn't been first presented in a diluted form. It wasn't until after hearing Pat Boone that most Americans were ready to listen to Little Richard. Introducing new spiritual ideas is an even tricker proposition.

  • Whenever I feel stressed out or have negative emotions I listen to this. Thank you for posting.

  • Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu!!!

  • CORNY

  • @satanisback .... Idolaters are those who worship idols(Blind Faith). We Buddhists give our respect to "Buddha" not as Supernatural God, but as our TEACHER who showed us how to live & die mindfully, free from greed, anger & ego. There's nothing "Supernatural " about Buddha & His teachings as He lived / died (as a human being ) always very close to the Mother Nature. Even His teachings are NOT Doctrine but of Self-Awareness. We learn to understand our (devious) mind and try to decipline it.

  • @shweminthamee Right on!

  • @shweminthamee Good Words, friend :)) We Love PEACE although it's "CORNY" , maybe ?

I dont think anyone doesn't love PEACE because it's "CORNY" :)

  • @yuyex1234 , Indeed !

  • @satanisback

I'm afraid TRUTH often seems to be CORNY for a person with devious mind.

May you be happy anyway !

  • @shweminthamee Nah, I love the buddhist teachings, but this is has nothing to do with meditation or original buddhist chants. This is made for pop culture and is too superficial to my taste. And what's TRUTH about this?

  • @satanisback I have to agree, the music it has been set to seems corny, but the actual chant is not.

  • May all beings can grow with wisdom and compassion ~

  • pagan

  • @jonathan21557

Don't worry, Jonathan. Although you think us pagans, I'll still be wishing you good fortune and happiness. :)

  • @TheApatheticGuy i hope you understand paganism and not used it in the sense of it being wrong, because,,, in that case you all need to learn "religion" and truth, this is a beautifull song very much beautifull

  • @Metalmoshking666

I expressed no opinion on any variation of Paganism. Refer back to the post that I responded to if you're looking for clarification as to what I even meant in the first place.

  • @TheApatheticGuy than great :), i do not think i will spend time searching to clarify it as i trust you on your honest word and did not mean to come over as an aggresor, just many people missunderstand the roots of my and there own ancestors wich i think is a shame for the loss but all is in the gene's ^^

Have a very goodday to you, much respect and blessed be also ^^

  • @TheApatheticGuy For each muddy pond, there is a lotus which may sprout. These few words above show me the art of recycling. Great.

  • @TheApatheticGuy This is an act of pride and not of love. Love is silent, humble, forgiving and nonconfrontational. Therefore, you are just as unskillful as those who would call Buddhists "pagans." Through your unskillful action, you have brought shame upon yourself and the Sangha, the Buddha and the Dharma.

  • @AndrestheMystic

You're the only one exhibiting pride here, friend.

Also, love that isn't confrontational is as ineffective an act as pouring a cup of water into the ocean.

  • @jonathan21557

go kill yourselve you and your dirty crucified jew called jesus.

    piece of shit

  • @Aterkomsten pagans

  • @jonathan21557

May you be able to live a peaceful life with open mind and loving kindness to all living being. There has been no such thing as"Religious War such as Crusade" in History of Buddhism. No one died because of Buddha's Preaching.

  • @jonathan21557 What Aterkomsten said was hateful, I do not agree with what he has said. Seems like what he have said spawns from his own suffering he may be feeling inside. May you be free from suffering, and be happy.

  • @Aterkomsten nothing changes you are still idolaters

  • @jonathan21557 How wrong can you be? Idolaters are those who worship idols(Blind Faith). We Buddhists give our respect to "Buddha" not as Supernatural God, but as our TEACHER who showed us how to live & die mindfully, free from greed, anger & ego. There's nothing "Supernatural " about Buddha & his teachings as he lived / died (as a human being ) close to the Mother Nature. Even his teachings are NOT doctrine but of Self-Awareness. We learn to understand our (cunning) mind and decipline it.

  • @jonathan21557 It may seem that way to someone who hasn't really experianced Bhuddism. I too have wondered that at times. But it's really no different than saying thanks to Jesus for the love and kindness he has taught you. the Buddha is simply our teacher. Nothing more, nothing less. Jesus wants you to love everyone, no matter their diffrences. So make him proud and love everyone, no matter how strange it may seem to you.

  • @Aterkomsten The buddha did say that you can not fight hate, with hate. Although his veiwpoint is differnt from yours, love him anyway.

  • @jonathan21557 Paganism and Buddhism are extremely different. I'd be happy to tell you the differences and similarities.

Both Paganism and Buddhism venerate the earth as sacred.

However Pagans worship may worship many gods. We as Buddhists do not recognize a diety, however we do pay homage to the Buddhas, who are exalted from all worlds. We mainly focus on Gautama Buddha, since he was the one to establish our religion.

    Sabbe satta subhito hontu!

    May all being be happy!

  • Thank for Dahhma snger.

  • Thank for Dahhma snger.

  • What language is this? I really like it, is there anyway i can learn it?

  • @Loveminter It is Sanskrit, old language from India.Click on the second from above "suggestion"on this page. The same chanting by Imee Ooi with English Lyric sub and translation. If you like to know more about "Metta"search Metta Meditation.

    Metta to you.

  • @supawanich00 Thanks.

  • It is called Pali Language... You can ask Buddhist monks for help in learning this language...

  • Peaceful, charming, gentle. Namo Amitabha!

  • Love, peace in your mind, and believe in yourself, that everything is possible if you learn to keep mind in calm, and hear your heart. Always smile ")

  • :-)

  • when I listen this song , I feel peaceful in my mine.

    Thanks alot.

  • thz u very much

  • I am an Arabian Buddhist embracing Buddhism is the best thing that happened in my life my views in life and in human lives have changed dramatically to something so high that I cant even explain..to the point that leave me speechless. The awakened Lord truly took away all the dust in my eyes, now I know the true worship is to say thank you to the one who showed you the path to eternal happiness now & forever I believe..

  • @NotYetGoing I am very happy that you have found the path to peace and happiness that you can experience right now.

May you be on your way to awakening.

    Metta to you.

  • @NotYetGoing

Sadu , Sadu, Sadu.... converts are most of the time the STRONGESTS, because they have studied closely and chose the path voluntarily , rather than inherite from their parents or spouse.

  • @NotYetGoing

    wow

thats very nice of you to realize it ^^

hope you can learn and do dhamma well,

    always doing good deeds,

may you will be happy, healthy and free from suffering,

    _/\_

    may all beings be happy

  • @NotYetGoing , Sadu, Sadu, Sadu, What Buddha himself preached to all non- believers and believers alike, in his Karlama Suttra, was "Remarkable". He said ( Do not believe just because.. your parents, your loved ones, your king, your fellow scholars, your teacher (that is Buddha himself ) etc. told you to do so. Only when, the practice of Dhamma works for one's peaceful existence as a human being with oneself and the rest, one must believe) He wants you to be totally independent .

  • @NotYetGoing Excellent that you embraced buddhism, encourage your family and friends to embrace buddhism and spread the message of the buddha around you.

  • I will listen this song Everyday!!

    I promise :)

  • it showing me peaceful when i listen to it.Thank you very much

  • Thank you

  • @doomheart2001

Well, this language flows more with less hard consonants. English isn't as soft a language as this, though the wording seemed less than ideal.

  • I am also a Christian student of East Asian History religious studies, comparative religious studies from all over the world with a minor in Philosophy. I was lost until I found my major then I felt I had come home it made sense. The way they use the whole system of body and mind and soul together. This is one of my favorite of Imee Ooi singing. I am doing time travel mentally praying and thinking to myself as a child all the beautiful music I learn as an adult to my child me.

  • @ClairaGEagleHawk You know Buddha and Buddhism doesn't originate in east Asia right?

  • true bliss like a fresh wind clears the soul. To coin a phrase it makes my heart soar like the hawk

  • Namo Amitabah~

  • Blissful.....

  • Beauty!

  • I feel peaceful whenever this song plays. :) Because it always reminds me not to hate or feel anger. “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” - Buddha

  • @epamz2

That is a very wise quote. :)

  • This metta Sutra reminds me of my mother. When I was a teenager, she taught me about " the Divine abode ,"Brahma Vihara.

She explained to me about. Metta (loving Kindness),Karuna(compassion),Mudita (Sympathetic joy) and Upekka ( equanimity) .I am what I am because of her.I am so grateful to her.I miss her .

  • What religions are wrong and right? - iuchat . com

  • @DiazRemington All religions are blind people grabbing different parts of the same object, coming up with different explanations. it's just that some got out of their original spiritual sense, like christianity and islam

  • @uzzobb The buddha only taught two things. Suffering, and how to get rid of it. So there's really no gods involved here.

  • @Celticswynd There's no gods anywhere actually... Bhudda-Dharma is spiritual yet realistic inventing no god to worship

  • @uzzobb Thankyou for clarifying that. I'm still new to Buddhism, and am still in the learning process.

  • @uzzobb Too bad not all branches of Buddhism stayed atheist.

  • @kloiten

Don't be confused. Buddhism tolerate all religion. Many southeast Asian countries incorporate Animism/Shamanism with Buddhism.... I am an animist and although you won't see any buddhist elements, there is a branch in my culture, known as shamanic buddhist........ hard to explain. Buddhism is not a religion, but a teaching instead, because there is no god.... and with that, it was able to co-exist well with other beliefs.

  • This is truly inspirational!! It opens you up to compassion and love for everyone! Continue your great work!

  • dosent sound like a chant at all sounds like a remixed booth produced if u accuel lisen to proper chants nothing like this with back in tracks etc
