Um... You being in high school has nothing to do with anything. I'm in grad school and I can promise you I've NEVER had a harder time in school than I did in junior high. "unless you don't try"?? I don't remember now a single thing I learned back then and I am glad. Also, how can you say that? What does "try" mean? It means you feel you earned what you got.
