The incredibly violent, bloody and painful crucifixion of Jesus Christ is completely inappropriate for children. The fact that small innocent kids are exposed to such material is disgusting and disturbing. Children should not be allowed into churches who advocate such an event.

You don't need a Bible to prove the existance of God. All you need is to look at this creation and yourself and that should leave no doubt that a divine creator exists. How else do you explain the timely rotation of the seasons and planets orbiting without bumping into each other and the sun being placed just right so that life can exist without being scorched or frozen. There is more proving His existance than disproving it.

Tell me...why were the authors willing to die for what they wrote about? Seems to me if they made it up they would all just shut up when threatened with death. Every time he said "I Am" he proclaimed himself as God. See Ex 3:13-15 where God proclaims himself as "I Am". Jesus, like is Father, uses I am to assert he is the self existent one, eternal in power, and unchanging in nature. While John 5 was written by a believer the Jews didn't believe he was God but understood clearly he proclaimed himself as God and therefore wanted him crucified for blasphemy. Heb 13:8 give this unchanging attribute to Christ too.

In every verse Jesus makes himself equal with God. He was God & man (Son of God & Son of Man) both were his titles. As son of God he was equal to & God. Because of love, he became man and limited himself but never lessened himself.
This is the choir i miss, the original New life choir. Don't get me wrong, i love the choir with the same love... but i love them because they all had a tremendous testimony. Everyone has a testimony, but the fact that your WHOLE CHOIR came from the streets and turned their life around.... man, that will turn almost anyone into a believer. Tell me...why were the authors willing to die for what they wrote about? Seems to me if they made it up they would all just shut up when threatened with death. I think that their willingness to die for telling the truth verifies that Jesus rose from the dead. Or is my assumption off base? Did a bunch of uneducated fishermen fabricate the religion of Christianity?

your key word is THEORY, that means that it has yet to be proven, scientist has been trying to prove this theory correct ever since Darwin, and still no luck. Now Christianity on the other hand every time it has been researched from a scientific and historical viewpoint, it has yet to be proven false everytime.

Jesus did in fact say he was God. Every time He said the words "I AM' he is referring to himself in the same way God told Moses "I am that I am". Also, people understood Him to claim equality with God.
John 5:18 (KJV) Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Every time he said "I Am" he proclaimed himself as God. See Ex 3:13-15 where God proclaims himself as "I Am". Jesus, like is Father, uses I am to assert he is the self existent one, eternal in power, and unchanging in nature. While John 5 was written by a believer the Jews didn't believe he was God but understood clearly he proclaimed himself as God and therefore wanted him crucified for blasphemy. Heb 13:8 give this unchanging attribute to Christ too.

In every verse Jesus makes himself equal with God. He was God & man (Son of God & Son of Man) both were his titles. As son of God he was equal to & God. Because of love, he became man and limited himself but never lessened himself.

This is the choir i miss, the original New life choir. Don't get me wrong, i love the choir with the same love... but i love them because they all had a tremendous testimony. Everyone has a testimony, but the fact that your WHOLE CHOIR came from the streets and turned their life around.... man, that will turn almost anyone into a believer. Who wouldn't serve a God like that?

I still have this video take from Azusa in '93. They were actually introducing "something new" with this song and the dancing, and Pastor Pearson was like "Wow, wow, wow" at the end of the song. Praise God!
