for my second amp ( a 4 channel ) i just put in a another ring connector to my cap for + and grounded it separately, just spliced into the remote of other amp..works fine but im wondering if i should increase my fuses on power cables? i got it with a 50 amp fuse...increased it 80 after i bought a bigger amp cause it blew. now i have 4 channel hooked up too . should i increase it to a 100 amp..i dont noe if im under powering my amps..my bass has a 4 guage wires and my highs have a 12 guage wires.
my factory radio is nice and sounds great but has no rca on it and i want to set up 2 12 inch subs with an amp of course so is there any way i can wire an amp to my radio without the rca on the radio? PLEASE HELP ME
I'm hoping you can help me. I'm trying to wire up my car seats in my honda. I switch the seats out and I want to know which wires go with which color. Do you match them? Or do they go opposite of each other?
hey i have two amps 4 subs... i dont really understand how to get the headunit imput to both amps??? and soo ur saying that if i get the 0 gauge cord and a distribution block then i should be fine??
this is random but how do you hook up rcas when theres only 2 outputs for r and l ? what do i do ? got a rockford amp and cant afford a new deck at the time . i mean 4 total out puts , 2 r's and 2 l's
witht he remote wire do you run 2 from the head unit or can you run 1 remote wire from the head deck and then jump it with a small remote from 1 amp to the other?
for me i needed 8 for my 2 amps, but i just ran a 4 cable to a block that split it, then i just ran the 4 to my amps, is that ok?
can u make a video of how to set gains with an ohm meter? i tryed o do this, but im not sure if i did good, or have the right amount of watts goin threw the channels, but i know my system is not clipping

Man my headunit has one output and my 2 amps only have inputs (no outputs on either of them). How do I connect my rca's for them?
trakkon14 1 year ago
@trakkon14 You can use a "y" cable.

you forgot to mention to get a fuse block and fuse when buying the separate parts

zach, dont forget about the power source, pulling too much power from a batt and alt will eventually fry the batt and alt.
