  • "self made amateur rocket"?

    your rocket built itself? congratulations!

    great video though.

  • nice :)

  • Totally over - engineered. My 4 cm rockets make twice that distance...

  • my rocket was even more amateur then this :l

  • Comment removed

  • its a red rocket hahahaha

  • very fluent flight, though short. The construction is very nice +5

  • what happen to this model rocket is not open parachute

  • Excellent !

  • Very good job!

  • Nice attempt, but you need to light the grains at the top of the core with an electrical igniter, not at the bottom with a fuse. The motor will come to pressure much quicker, and deliver more of the available impulse. Shame recovery didn't work. Nice work on the airframe. BOYCOTT WMG.

  • How did you get such a nice nozzle? Is the body made by wood?

  • Pretty cool, need to work on your recovery techniques. Pulling it out of the ground ain't so cool :)

  • thats not that bad

  • wow beatiful

  • was this rocket core or end burning? With kno3/sucrose proppelants or "candy" proppelants, it is most beneficial to have an unihibited core burning cylindrical grain. I also noticed u used a fuse to ignite ur propellant. This is OK for firework rckts but with the time nd effort put in to this rckt i suggest that u use electric ignition. This not only allows head-end ignition but it allows the flame to propagate around the proppelent givin it a high specific impulse lemme no if ugot any questions

  • Yes,using a fuse may be undesireble, but i heard that using one with a rocket is actually illeagle in most states

  • wow nice video. wasnt that great f a launch but maybe next time it will get higher. it is a nice rocket though. what did you use for the airframe? (the center tube the rockets body) and the nose cone? did you just use ply-wood for the fins?

  • Yeah I would say the Engine and its housing does look a bit on the heavy side. The dynamics of the body and the rocket's altitude do not match well. It needs to go higher! Great one. nice video.

  • hey do you still have the plans for that?? id love to build one in my woodshop class

  • lot better then i can do lol

  • how do he make that?

  • Isn't the nozzle too heavy?.

    Very nice body^^

    Can you reload it?

  • not immpressive

wat do you want nasa ?

  • Not an impressive altitude...........nice rocket body. Make a better rocket motor---your motor looks heavy as shit; looks like 2mm metal case!

Make motors out of PVC pipe and cat litter-just make sure nozzles are big enough so there are no explosions--it will be a pity with such a nice rocket.

  • amateur? if u ask me ur pro's...

  • thats alot of work for that short of a flight, I would put all that energy into a more productive engine. Not talking shit by any means, I love the video, I am currently messing with doublebase smokeless powder and black powder 5:1 solid end burning rockets..thinking the nitroglycerin will hold alot of energy..

  • wats the name if the song

    n

    ice vid

  • Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf

  • (jefferson airplane)

  • cool cool cool

  • what was the electronic-looking payload?

  • i think it was a altemeter

  • very nice rocket! so wats the propellant? a type of rcandy?

  • what is the name of the programm

  • excel wasnt it? i dont know

  • bad deinterlacig of the video. use discard odd or even fields.

  • great thing !

    how was it powered ?

  • Awesome! Was that a competition rocket. Wondering because I remember taking pix of the building process to compete, and I noticed you had some. That was annoying.

  • Very good

  • nice video, please reply to my pm thanks!!

  • that was excellent, great tune as well. its the one where they make warp speed in star trek for the first time. whats it called

  • hi, is the dextrose kno2 better than the sucrose kno3? do you have any websites with info on this or any formula ratios, thanks anything will be a help.

  • dude, thats awesome. What is venting before it launches?

  • fuse smoke
