I heard capcom had no idea for a new story. How about Regina going through the gate to the present time where they came from in the first place, and its over run by dinosaurs. Some one else used Third Energy and transported dinosaurs to the present day. Regina has track the person responsible down while going through alot of stuff and finds Another gate at the end. She goes through and it leads to THIS ending and she saves everyone :]

Everyone, thumb this shit up. Dylan and Paula survived, Regina got through, somehow built the gate and saved them. If you paid attention, you'd had noticed that Dylan was talking to his future self earlier in the game. How would that have been possible if he never got out alive? And Paula is obviously his daughter. Dino Stalker kinda helps prove this since Paula is alive in that game, and that's a quasi-direct sequel to DC2. Still, a TRUE sequel to this game is still needed.

Since the game just got on psn recently, I thought i'd play it again. This really is one of the best from ps1 and Capcom. Even DC1 was great. I always loved the ending to this. I doubt they'd make a proper follow up.. so they shouldve, at the end, had Regina come from a small portal and save them just in time since she learned about 3rd energy and could've built a small portable time travel device. Would've been better closure there. But I guess we can only imagine that it happened.

I know Capcom has problems with the continuation of this plotline due to the death dive that is Dino Crisis 3 and the spoiler that is Dino Stalker. But it would not be that difficult to make 4th dino crisis. No need for reboot or remake. Dino Stalker wasnt a complete spoiler. Dylan and Paula survive but how? Come on Capcom. dino 2 - the clean up and the retreaval of the third energy AKA. the second dino problem

NOW THE HARD PART - to fix the problem they send the dinos to the future so the future can send them home, which brings us to dino crisis 3 which is about wat happens in the future.

Then we have DINO STALKER the dino which continues from dino 2 and fills in the gaps between dino 2 and 3 and tells u this

What happened after this: They scanned the Third Energy data disk, but found only one file on it: trollface.jpg. That is the reason Dylan and Paula were not saved and why there is no real DC3.
