The confusion is the extra zero, that doesn't matter. .50 is basically the same as .500, .5000 AND .50000000000000000000000000000­0000. It is the decimal place that is important NOT the amount of zeros.

There are a lot of half inch in diameter cartridges. Examples? This (.500 S&W), .50 AE (Deagle), .50 BMG (M2, Barret). They differ in amount of load, weight, produced energies (AE - about 2kJ, S&W - 3.5-5 kJ, BMG - even 13 kJ!!!) and lengths. (.50 BMG is 99mm!)

This weapon is NOT the gun that is in RE4. The "hand cannon" in re 4 is a .50 revolver. This is a .500 revolver.

Recoil is exaggerated in re4. The 9mm kicks like a 45, the 45 kicks like a 50, and the 50 kicks like a million grain .500 lol.

This isn't the re4 handcannon. This is ALOT stronger than the re4 handcannon.

I had gotten completely bored one day and made a sketch of a REAL hand cannon...it's a weapon that could actually be made, although the point of it would probably be useless. It's a 20mm revolver. Just think: a .50 cal bullet is 12.7mm so yeah, this thing could do some damage. But, since it'd take such a toll on the body's wrists, it would probably break them both instantly. Unless they use them with those exoskeletons the army is developing.

Dude. . . i did almost the exact same thing, except it's more like a shotgun than a handgun: thing cracks down the middle like a double barrel shotgun, but the chamber has only 1 25mm round capacity, kind of like a handgun version of the GUSTAV rail cannon.
