Bucky did return in one episode of the new series, to help his brother Buddy fix a "box with a red light on it." He got a modest applause from the audience when he appeared. I wish Bucky had been in more episodes. He only appeared in two of the originals, and Andy talked about him in a third, the episode where the bomber destroys their transmitter. RIP Bill Dial

Thank you for uploading this.  I was a fan of the original WKRP when it played after school (in syndication) in the late 80s. I did get to see a couple of "New" WKRP episodes int he early 1990s when I was in college. While I did not like it as much as the original, it was good to see the return of the series with some of the original cast members.

.. It was a pleasure seeing those characters again. I was not aware of the 'new ' WKRP...and I agree that they should NOT have tried to remake it. Let it be remembered as a Classic.

I remember seeing this when it originally aired and hating it completely...actually found Johnny and Jennifer to be totally out of character. But upon a second (scrambled) viewing? It was actually pretty good. Subsequent episodes where they actually tried to create new characters were awful, but still...not a terrible reunion.

Instead of being sensitive and wonder if people will actually watch this youtube video with the V-Hold from the ol' VCR messed up, WE (the people) should thank you on actually getting this uploaded. Even though they should have never remade such a classic...Keep it up

@TwinCityKillaz I appreciate the feedback. What I might end up doing is buying a cheapie VCR to see if the tape plays better on it, then upload the rest of the episodes I still have. It's strange--all the rest of my tapes play fine on this VCR, except for the WKRP tape. It's the only one that looks like this.

@TwinCityKillaz I disagree the V-Hold makes it suck almost as much as the show when they brought it back.
