Brandon Jacobs tough running, softening up the defense is the reason Ward and Bradshaw look as good as they do when they come in after Jacobs. Jacobs is average 5.2 a carry this year, as a first stringer. He would be leading the NFL in rushing, if it weren't for the solid backups.
yea they really are.....they work the best as a trio tho....they're an offensive coordinator's wet dream because you've got jacobs who's a juggernaut and will soften up the defense, ward whos a small quick hard to tackle bullet, and bradshaw who is invaluable as a 3rd down/ 4th quarter running back
