This was originally a piece based on a Spanish Sevillanas, composed by Isaak Albeniz (part of suite española) for piano. It was transcribed to the guitar by Francisco Tarrega and revised by Miguel Llobet. Andres Segovia may have changed a few fingerings (pretty typical especially for him) but didn't change Tarrega's transcription of Albeniz's Piano work. While Segovia plays it marvelously, it is in no way his creation.
Andres Segovia created the heavens and the earth. His face moved across the deep and void and all that stuff. Then he became lonely and created John Williams. All others are just riff raff.
