I can barely resist the temptation to quote the XIXth century editors of the Fitzwilliam VB who wrote:

"This absurd piece of music, by an Italian author otherwise unknown..."

Which, of course, when I first read this in 1973, sent me directly trying to read and play it. But it's difficult to interpret well.

thank you, it is made by peter suringa in 1977with the aid of a bedard kit (after giovanni boni 1610) it sounds very brilliant.
