Make sure you select the Pipe object first. There is a small Recycle Bin icon on the upper right hand side. Above that there is a button that says "Show or hide the Channel Box/Layer Editor". Click on that. When it opes it has 3 view modes. The first one says "Show Channel Box". There you should see the Inputs for your object.
i press "F" and instead of zooming in it's zoom's out

f = frame, means when u select an objec, and u frame up on it, it shows u the whole object that uve selected
