nice bike... unscrew the knurled knob enough so you can swing it out of the slot and to the side, then you can fold your bike without removing the pin, and it is good to have a snap ring or something like on the bottom of your pin so it can't fall out of the hinge (and overboard !) when the bike is folded,,, cheers
