Nice Rotti's! My Rotti has a docked tail, thankfully. I can't imagine the destruction a full grown Rotti tail would cause indoors...I'd have no glasses or picture frames left!
Our Rott rescue has a docked tail that looks like yours. it makes me feel better that they didn't chop off the whole tail. You can see Italians & others with a tradition of working dogs who are also family pets who don't dock the tails. It's beautiful . This is our 2nd Rott rescue & hopefully next time we rescue one we will get there before anyone docks the tail. Thanks for your tribute to a great breed.
A rots tail is supposed to be lessn the 2 inches long when docked. I mean it makes no difference in the dogs, i dont want u to think im being an ass.. but if you were to show them that would disqualify them right away. I used to breed rotts, but i would be pissed if they were my dogs.
their cute but i think their tails look better when they"re a little shorter...
