  • Mine won't flush two paper towels. Or small amounts of toilet paper. Nevermind any #2 material. Junk. Clogs all the time.

  • i have this toilet in the1.28 version it suck ed so bad i switched the internals to a 1.6 and it still clogs all the time

  • @e1casper I've heard so many stories about Alto's getting plugged up constantly and how "awful" they are overall. Unfortunately that has not been my experience with them ever. I never clogged one or had a problem ever.

  • hey! it flushed it down with no problem. I should try that at my friend's Mansfield Alto.

  • Mansfield Alto Flushing Five Paper Towels.

  • I like the altos flush it's good and doesn't clog alot of my family members have the alto my aunt has 2 of them I'll make a video

  • I like mansfield's new redesighned logo. Not totally redesined but u know what I mean

  • oh ok. i can see it now, lol

  • i cant tell. is it white or blue?

  • its white, the blue you see was the blue sky reflecting on it

  • My friend has this and a kohler wellworth. But he has the elongated comfort hight one. And he rigged it up to flush 3.5 gallons.

  • Is that a regular flush valve?

  • I used to have these I think in a 1995 built home, They were stock toilets and flushed and looked quite similar. I remember the first day me and my parents moved in It was my first 1.6gpf toilet I ever seen and I was amazed by how fast it flushed. If they were alto's they look as though they have not changed hardly any since then.

  • The 1.6 GPF Alto has not changed one bit since they started making it in 1992 or 93.

  • what do u do with your toilers do u just keep them in your basement pr something? like do u even use that mansfield?

  • The toilets I dont use wait there turn in storage in the basement until I feel like changing out a toilet somewhere and testing one that I havent tested yet.

  • A home center like Home Depot or Lowes but there a northern chain.

  • where did u get that toilet?

  • The local Menards.

  • how much waz it

  • About 100 dollars.

  • I have even seen these exact toilets branded as American Standard!

  • @Drakee99 I have a video of one I found It has a Mansfield number on the bowl and is a "alto"

but is mis branded as a American Sandard, probably from a Mr. Second type store.

  • @force311999 Funny that I saw the same thing at the Trumansburg fairgrounds. There were at one time 1960's Mansfields and they all got replaced by those Altos branded as American Standard. Strange!

  • @Drakee99 Can you film them?

  • @Drakee99 can you film them???

I have since uploaded a comparison video for the two minefields side by side to prove that some one

    mested up with stamping them

  • great video gusher! I had one of these toilets in a previous house of mine, and it worked pretty great for a 1.6gpf flusher. I had it tuned to use very little water......maybe just a gallon or so. it was great!

  • Excellent vid. Could you film the whole toilet? I mean the outside of it (trapway, height etc)

  • Sure.

  • Thanx! When it's ready could you inform me about it? :)

  • Sure I'll "share" it with you.

  • So would you film it for me please??

  • what camera you using!?! fantastic man! 5 *****

  • Kodak z1275.

  • The toilet looks like a nice blue colour.

    Good vid:-)

  • Actually that must of been the blue sky reflecting on the toilet as the toilet is white.

  • Thanx for that,I wondered why the cistern was white and the toilet blue :-)

  • Do you like it?

  • fantastic quality !
