There's a video of Henry Wang from the 90's where he has Canada's top RCMP martial artist put him in a submission hold and henry throws the cop with no evidence of serious effort. I know a few people who have, including my brother who is definitely unable to fully explain henry's abilities through contact, but at least when my brother was going to see him he really only ever demonstrated no touch on students he had trained for long periods of time. Take that as you will.

I have spoken with another student of Henry Wang who seems to have enough knowledge and training to understand what is being expressed. I have no doubt Mr. Wang has very good skills but... the no touch is BULLSHIT! Enough said, if you buy into it, so be it. No need to become defensive or potty mouthed. Yes I think SOME of his students are stupid enough.

Total Bullshit, just blindfold one of his students and see if they react the same. They are not necessarily faking it but they know what their teacher expects of them and so they feel it. I have seen dozens of these demos and none of them can stand up to a independent test. If you watch videos of his students you can see he is teaching them nothing that resembles real Tai Chi or let alone Neigong.

@karlgrose I too have studied under several masters including master Jou Tsung Hwa and Marilyn Cooper as well as under a disciple of Park Bok Nam in Pa Kua. My studies include Shaolin Longfist 3 styles of Tai Chi Chuan as well as other quiqong practices and taoist 9 level meditation. Remember that the scientific comm unity had similar problems. The most respected scientists have laughed off theories in the past only to embrace them later. You can never know it all. no matter who you are.

@krautbeer100 I do not for a moment claim to know "it all" as no one can but what I do KNOW is that I can walk up to your master and put my hand on him and he will be unable to stop me without the use of physical force, I'm not talking a great deal of force but he will not be able to "control me" with his Chi, Shen, Hara, Mana.. whatever you wish to call it. I can walk up to him and touch him, there's no need for you to fly all the way out there to prove that. What is it that bothers you so much about the videos? Do you think he's making some claim that this is something you can use in the UFC or something?

@blackhorsetaichi No need to be snide, i am a 30 year practitioner in the Chinese Arts have never entered a tournament and I have little use for the UFC. It was either you or krautbeer who asked me to put my money where my mouth is and that is what I offered, nothing more. Perhaps I don't know what is "at play here" and would appreciate some enlightenment because to the casual observer the videos demonstrating the "power or ability" to manipulate people from a distance degrades this art.

I have no problem with that but if you are going to question my motives you should at least look at the "stream" to have an understanding of what is being said and why. I'm in Crestone CO, (4hrs. It's so funny how the "know it alls" are all over this. Hey science only a few decades ago claimed that acupuncture is "hokus pokus". That is until some Scandinavian scientist found out that the ohmic resistance of the human skin differs from place to place. If you connect the dots where the resistance is low you wind up with the acupuncture meridians. Where the resistance is zero you have an acupuncture point. You should not discard things just because you are too close minded to understand.

I have also studied with Bruce Frantzis, Dr. Yang Jwing Ming, and Chunyi Lin, all of whom have stated this type of demo is total bullshit and I have proven it against one other "master".  Where is his Kwoom, DoJo, Studio?

@karlgrose Actually... I don't "believe" in his "powers." His "no touch" is just something he thinks is "interesting." I'm not able to do it and I don't believe he could produce the same results in a setting like... the UFC. That said, I haven't met anyone with his same ability for... lets call it "center manipulation" when touching. I've gotten decent at that and would gladly come to you (or have you come to me) to demonstrate it. There are videos on my channel and you can request more. :)

Master wang is the real deal. I know this having studied his style. Almost all other tai chi forms are empty... pretty but empty. This is real chi gong in motion based on only 50/50 100/0 energy distribution. He is very powerful indeed.

Hmmm... chi is what we refer to as energy. Using Chi, some people claim the power to be able to project their chi to affect different parts of the body such as making people faint in this video. I practice chi myself, but I have never really seen anyone up close use chi in this manner, not saying it's not valid. Hypnosis, however, is more of a system of establishing trust,then giving suggestions as to what the other person should do, but at the same time, they wont do somethign they dont want to

cool,my teacher can also issue without touch, but he says he can only make it work on some people depending on the mind body connection of the person. that said i have seen him do it on people he has never met before with no warning. check out heaven man earth or my channel for a look at some push hands

A "real" chi push?! :) That's not how it works! (Not what Master Wang is doing anyway). What's happening is a persons center is getting broken and they're pushing themselves back (not chi pushing them back).

Let me restate my interest in no touch. I'm not interested in it RIGHT NOW. I have SO much to practice and learn with "touching" that I'm not interested in messing with no touch a the moment. ;)

If its real why not blind fold all the opponents. The blind folds must not allow any light to enter. So, they must be for instance ski glasses painted on the inside. If he is using energy than the opponents eyes are not important.

I'd like to discuss this more if you like (on my channel ;) ), but I've thought about it and I think the reason has to do with a persons energy/chi. A person's energy/chi flows where the mind/intent is. Blindfolded a person's energy won't flow beyond their personal space.
