@BloodBrosPA Its hard to make a video about that mainly because you can find shed everywhere. I gave a few pointers in the video but not always will you find them where you think so the esiest way to cover ground is with a big group and comb the woods to cover as much as you can in little time.
How much land do you guys own? Also do you have any tatics for shed hunting? We have 40 acres plus goverment land that we can go on anytime wich is about 200 acres around that total.
@thesafehunter Were we found most of the sheds is on 300 acres. About 200 of it is actually woods. Best thing to do is right at the nd of january start eeding the deer for about 2 weeks. Follow their highwasin the snow and it will lead to thier beddi areas. After you have a good idea you know where to look. Taing lots of frinds with you and line up you can cover more ground quicker and wait til the middle of march.
Hey guys.....love the videos keep em coming. I have some shed videos as well, not sure if you watch them, but I definitly try to keep them interesting and sometimes even funny....keep up the good work.
ah I was wondering when the shed video was going to emerge . i have been out about 7 times most in feb once in march and found nothing. going to try again this sat. ..nice video
Update: Legally you are not to have in your possession a buck skull that is not legaly tagged or paid for by the PGC so we took the buck skull back to where we found it.
@Leatherwoodoutdoors I hunted all my life in Virginia. Almost all the time when I find the remains of a deer the head is missing or I find the head with no body bones, No one that I have talked to about this can figure what kind of animal in central Virginia can remove the head and carry it off. I realize that the body bones can be consumed easier than the skull. Do you have any idea? I love your videos. Thanks for all your effort. You are a responsible hunter.
@navajopa31 I dont know. We found a lot of dead doe and I would say half of them were missing the heads. Then we also found skulls of just doe and no body. Not sure what deer they went to since it was no where near the other bones. Now some were also missing legs but most of the time it was just a rib cage and a leg or two, and those were just one that died during winter. That deer was dead for a very long time. I once found a dead doe that was dragged uphill 20 yards by coyotes.
Nice Video! Deer Like That Are Lucky Deer. I Shot A Buck With One Side Going Forward And The Other Side Going Backwards. Lucky Deer, Would Have Been Nice If You Guys Got It
