Guerilla tactics are surely defeatable. YOu have to learn that every war requires a different strategy. Same way as the engine of an aeroplane is different from the engine of a car. In case of guerilla attacks, Israel needs to show more toughness; like using mastard gas or small nuclear missiles. That will definitely take care of it. Only one mini-nuclear missile on a Hamas stronghold will take care of it..

of course the IDF needs it's airforce because of it's war tactic, that doesnt mean israeli troops are not up to face to face combat, israeli airforce could not go beyond the Egyptian anti-air SAM's, the sinai was taken back with very little airforce and the part of the west side of the suez cannal was taken with almost no airforce support.
