Joker. I'm a Jets fan. Noticed you commented on Alan Faneca being the best guard in the league. Admitedly, I know this was judging on the season before last, but I was wondering if you still think he has "it"? Is he still elite? Thanks man.

What are u talking about. Sims was horrible 2 years ago. He couldnt block at all and he's lucky that he gets another chance to be a starter.

Faneca is the best guard in the league? He's not even the best guard in the AFC North. Have you seen him pass block? There is a reason Big Ben is hit more than any other QB in the league and his poor offensive line is it. Even Faneca's run blocking skills have fallen off since 05-06.
Hutchinson is the best guard and it's really not even close. Look at what happened to Alexander when Hutch left. Look at what Peterson and Taylor are doing in Minnesota. Hutch has committed one penalty in 3 years.

Andrews is just a bit behind Faneca, I think Andrews has potential to be better though.

Shawn Andrews is the new Larry Allen. He's an absolute beast. It's hard to argue against Alan Faneca, though. Both are dominant players at their respective positions.
