@ThatOneQuestion Do I miss the Point? This is a country that still has freedom of speech and free enterprise. You will not change the opinion of dumb people, they are too lazy watching TV and breeding more of there kind to play football, knock people down who disagree with them and get into the latest fad. Creationism is really a political movement funded by desperate Republicans who want to get a voting block. They saw an opportunity in the Pentecostal movement and invaded.

@ThatOneQuestion We shouldn't stoop to their level. I see cretinist retards blocking people all the time. Hell, I've been blocked more than once, because the uploader of the video couldn't hang with me in a debate. Let's rise ABOVE them, and refuse to delete their stupidity, refuse to block them. @MrNewkingjames So... Everest magically poofed into being by the power of your god, just like Adam, Eve, and the talking snake a few thousand years ago?
What is too bad for me, by the way? All you have done is assert your opinion without any supporting evidence what so ever. Saying "MAGIC MAN DUN IT!" is not evidence. Pointing to a book that says "MAGIC MAN DUN IT!!" is not evidence either.

i can never understand why peace loving christians WANT people to burn in hell for all eternity? as most of the world is NOT Christian...and has never been Christian, that would mean most people who have ever lived are going to hell. How can a loving God codemn most of his creation to eternal torrment? what possible rationale could he give to justify such an atrocious act?
Atheism is just another of the many false religions. The good thing about the religion of Atheism is that no bones are bared since the rebellion of the followers is obvious. Other religions pretend to have the truth but are just as lost and headed for Hell. Biblical Truth is not a religion but is straight from God.

@CMCHAPEL So not believing in your silly fairy tale makes me part of some religion?
Wow, when did I join this religion? The day I realized your death cult is full of lies? How does one join a religion like that?
Is there a separate "Atheist religion" for every religion out there? What about you? You are an Atheist when it comes to the Islamic gods, so I guess you are part of the Atheist religion as well!
@CMCHAPEL lol the religion of atheism i like that one...you try to insult us by labelling as part of your cliché...and ohh yea, i dont play soccer thats my sport...and my favourite tv channel is off
The joyful thing is that EVERY KNEE WILL BOW in the White Throne Judgment when the glory of Holy God is revealed to the many that are going to Hell. Then you all can continue cursing God forever in torment. All creation will rejoice when the unrepentant disbelieving sinners are receiving what all humanity deserves.
@jigjaroo Interesting informations, impressive numbers. But what author of this cool video forgot about is-God can do MAGIC!If you believe in magic, this is not an argument against God at all.I'm sorry.I appreciate this attempt but it won't work.I prefer to say to the believers in Anything(I mean God) straight away-''You fucking stupid ridiculous ignorant.''
@phillozoph50 Oh dont worry, I funny realize that all too well after dealing with religious nuts for years on end.
The reason people like me take the time to go through things like this is specifically to get people to use "magic" in desperation. Once they do that, the debate is over and they lose.
Often enough, Creationists try to sound like they have a clue and pretend they are using science to support their religion. By dismantling their bullshit, they are left with their own insecurities
@ThatOneQuestion I didn't mean to offend you mate,I feel deep respect to all the people doing this antireligious job here on a you tube. Therefore,I,m not worried:)All this religious ignorants need to feel a voice of reason.Rational world won't be listening to this bulshit forever. The time is near my friend, religions of today will be a mythology of the near fufture. You have to keep on doing this great job. Thanks in the name of my children:)
I've got one you can use. It goes like this... "God tells you that you are to never believe in him again. EVER! Do you obey?" If they answer no, they're proving god can't do something. If they answer yes, they're idiots but suppose they say yes. If god comes back in front of them, they have to believe he's real. Either way they're proving an infallable god cannot exist.
@tubewatch59 Dont bother. I'm not going to let you waste your time, my time, or the time of anyone else.
.
Your bullshit has nothing to do with science and everything to do with your opinions. Dont post here again. People like you are beyond reasonable conversion.
@tubewatch59 Correction? That isn't correction, you silly fool. You are simply asserting your bullshit with nothing to support any of your speculation other than opinion.
.
Your opinion means nothing to me. Get the fuck out of here. People like you are a waste of time.
(22) Yes, I do believe in super microevolution. Kirschner and Gerhardt discuss what we are now finding out about the actual mechanisms behind evolution. It's not really much like plain old random mutations and natural selection. There is far more to it. This enables evolution to happen quickly and puposefully in many cases. Kirschner and Gerhardt don't have an explanation for how these sophisticated processes originated. They can only assume that they evolved.
(which is not quite 35 million (just a little more) due to some precision errors).
But is it possible? Sure is! These required increases are well below the rates that could have been sustained. And since there was no competition initially, the initial rates may have been far in excess of those figures. In fact, 35 million may be a vast underestimate for 1500 BC.
(21B) The population increase factor per 20 year generation = 4375000^0.02 Population increase factor per 20 year generation = 1.35775. This means that the population proceeds as follows: 08.000 people at year 0 10.862 people at year 20 14.748 people at year 40 ... 36.914 people at year 100 170.32 people at year 200 785.94 people at year 300 3626.5 people at year 400 16733 people at year 500 77212 people at year 600 356273 people at year 700
(21A) You really doubt that 4 couples can replenish the earth to 35 million people in 1000 years?
Let's see if they can or not:
Let's assume a generation time of 20 years. Then we have 50 generations available in 1000 years. Starting population is 8. Endding population is 35000000. Relative endpoint to startpoint population ratio is 35000000/8 = 4.375 million. We then find the population increase factor per 20 year generation to be the 50th root of 4.375 million...
(20) Your global population figures are of course based on the assumption tha there was never a flood.
But aside from that, was it possible to get the worlds population from 8 to 6 billion in 4500 years? Especially since there were wide open niches with little competition until the various populations had increased to larger values. The increase from 8 to 6 billion people can easily be accomodated in 4500 years. The population increase factor per 20 year generation, being less than 1.1
(19) There is a mechanism to dispose of 6500 ft of water. The parts of land moving up vertically became our modern continents and the parts that subsided became the present day oceans. Gravity was the mecvhanism, and also accounts for the worldwide planation surfaces that were carved out from the massive continental runoff at the close of the deluge. It was at this time, or just before it that the ark would have run aground in the mountains of Ararat.
(18) You mention the destruction of marine eco-systems. I agree with you. But what about the setting up of new marine ecosystems? That is what evolution is all about. The natural selection of creatures able to survive a change in environment, being selected over those that cannot survive such changes. I am sure that the preflood world was totally different to what we have now. But things can and do change. And also, animals often devolve into a niche environment, where they get trapped.
(17B) It is likewise discovered to have large feete, but the eye may there be deceived for some say that serpents have no feete. ... The dragon rids away as fast as a man can run. His food is thought to be for the most part in a conie warren, which he much frequents... There are likewise upon either side of him discovered two great bunches as big as a large foote-ball and (as some thinke) will in time grow to be wings, but God I hope will that he shall be destroyed before he grows to fledge...
(17A) "This Serpent (or dragon as some call it) is reputed to be nine feete, or rather more, in length, and shaped almost in the form of an axletree of a cart, a quantitie of thickness in the middest, and somewhat smaller at both endes. The former part, which he shootes forth as a neck, is supposed to be an elle long, with a white ring as it were of scales about it. The scales along his back seem to be blackish, and so much as is discovered under his bellie, appeareth to be red...
(16) Many of those varieties of dinosaurs were likely evolved after the flood. But even if they were not, as you well know, most dinosaurs were very small animals in any case.
(17) The earth is full of human accounts of strange creatures whose descriptions do not seem mythical, but do resemblke dinosaurs. Here is part of one description from England in 1614 from St. Leonards forest in Sussex, near a village called dragon's green (and called that long before this acccount was written: ...
(15) But we know that dinosaurs are quite small when young. Why would Noah bring full sized animals on board? He wouldn't have.
It takes quite a while for something like an ultrasaurus to grow to it's full size of 180 tonnes. This rate is likely to be between 5 to 20 years or even longer. Young "ultrasaurii" would have been far smaller and lighter than 180 tonnes and remained small and light for long enough to have been easily on the ark for a year without becoming overly huge.
(12) the daily food requirements of an elephant - are for full sized elephants. Why on earth would Noah have brought two full sized elephants on board? In addition, this is for an active creature. And of course, very few of the animals were anywhere near elephant size in any case. The ark wasn't exactly what you'd call short on space for food stocks.
@tubewatch59 12) more opinionated bullshit with nothing more than speculation
.
15) So, you think the Flinstones cartoon is a documentary? That shows you are a fucking retard. This is why nothing said here will mean anything to you.
.
Sorry kid, but I can no longer take you seriously. You dont have a fucking clue.
@tubewatch59 Blah blah blah. Nothing anyone says will ever convince you of anything beyond what you want to hear from your Magic Man book. Get the fuck out of here, you intellectually dishonest fuck.
(11) There wasn't 30,000 ft of water. Let's say 6500 feet maximum, as that seems reasonable given that if the earth were smooth we'd have about 6500 ft of water to cover everything. It would have been less in any case, since the earth would never have been perfectly smooth at any time. But we'll use that figure anyway.
6500 ft = 78000 inches.
78000 inches/40 days = 1950 inches per day
= 1.35 INCHES PER MINUTE.
(This is less than your 1.5 inch/min. maximum recorded value.)
(9) Who says land plants crushed underneath the flood survived? Only those which floated in vegetation mats would have survived. The rest became the massive coal and oil deposits we have now.
(10) It didn't rain for 40 days from water that came from the atmosphere. Most of the water, likely all of it, came from underneath the ground. The Bible says "all the fountains of the great deep were broken up". These fountains then partially fell back as torrential rain.
@tubewatch59 9) The fucking bible does. What did the dove bring back to Noah? Thats right, a fresh olive leaf. That means they survived a year of being flooded.
.
You dont have a clue what happens to living organisms that need air to survive when they are drown, do you?
.
10) The "deep" isn't talking about direction, kid. You clearly dont know your bible. The "deep" is referencing space: the area beyond the glass bowl they thought we lived under.
No. The water wasn't on the earth for a year. It was far less time than that. Noah was told to remian in the ark for about a year due to safety reasons. The dove had come across newly grown olive trees on patches of earth that were now dried out enough to support vegetation.
The "fountains of the great deep" was from beneath the earth - the "windows from heaven were opened" was the rainfall likely resulting from the fountains falling back as rain.
@tubewatch59 Stop posting your bullshit or I'm going to block you.
.
People who think we lived with dinosaurs are beyond help. Leave on your own volition or I'll remove you myself. I have no time for retards like you. Go vomit your ignorance elsewhere.
(1) You say no geologist. You mean, no anti-creationist geologists will say that.
(2) Actually a global flood explains many of the features of our planet that are not well explained otherwise, such as global planation surfaces.
(6) If C14 dating methods are being used to calibrate everything, then that would be expected to be way off as well due to the disurbance of the ratio of C12 to C14 after the burial of much of the biosphere. We're still not yet back at C12/C14 equilibrium.
1 - No geologist means no geologist. If you disagree, cite the name of the person making the claim, the source of their claim and the evidence they give to support that claim. I dare you.
.
2 - That is a lie. Learn your geology.
.
4 - Cite your source, and dont fucking lie to me again.
(5) The supposedly older cultures all have global flood legends. So they actually didn't survive it at all. They came from Noah's family as is supported by the genealogy lists that often have been recorded.
@tubewatch59 5) if they came from Noah's family, how long did it take them to cross half of the planet and make a completely different civilization, new language, etc etc?
.
Thats right-you fucking make this shit up as you go. If you are going to continue to lie, I'm not going to waste my time taking you seriously.
I think rather, the evidence is that you're the one making this $@%# up. Or else, someone is giving you some really bad material, and you're not checking it properly.
(4) You're wrong on that one. Humans are actually not all that diverse. And the genetic data supports a population bottleneck proceeding from 8 people about 5000 years ago.
@hobo59 Your comment is being removed as you admittedly say you didn't watch the video. That means that you just want to spam your opinions without any interest or respect to other opinions.
.
Feel free to actually post something worth while, but if you are going to arrogantly swing your "manhood" in my face like this and expect me to let you keep doing it, you are mistaken. Obviously this threatens you a good deal, but try to act like an adult, kid. You arn't fooling anyone.
The Noah story is quite ridiculous as it is, but breaking it down like this really leaves the creationists with no place to stand (except unquestioning religious faith, aka psychosis).
@slipcurve Thanks =) Hopefully part 1 also covers the main arguments they try to use in support of the story too... and by "support" I mean bullshit they pull out of their ass and present as if its the best thing since double fudge sundays.
That's why It is written that what is impossible for man is not impossible for GOD- The God of the impossible? You either believe or don't! That is belief. That is why the Gospel is said to be foolish as far as the world is concerned! God commands and it is done! AWESOME! Adam and Eve were not just one couple! But from one couple called Adam and Eve the world was populated. The proud, arrogant, wise, shall dispute till the end of time!can the blind instruct those who see!? How do the deaf hear?
I checked out YOUR rant on your channel-and speaking my mind I have to say that the whole message board is one of your rants! So you had heavens door shut in your face and are stamping your feet like a spoiled child. But really that's no way to behave old man! Reasons? Nothing that you haven't borrowed from somewhere else! Not one original comment! Did you know that Noah was first to use the plimsoll line? Something about walking on water-sorry now I am laughing at you in derision=So is GOD
This video is very thorough and presents some very strong facts / arguments. Has anyone tried to create a response in attempt to debunk these claims one at a time?
Not so far as I've seen or heard of. One has tried to list of answers that deal with the points, but it was so full of bullshit and lies I couldn't stop laughing.
Facts and reason are the bane of Theists because they know they dont deal with reasonable aspects of life. They rely on faith, which is acceptance without or even in spite of reason or facts.
This video is a mish mash of others that the guy has looked at to pass time because he is lonely and wants to talk to somebody. Not one original theme that hasn't been disputed a thousand times before! Not one original argument! they only stand up under post deluvian reasoning not anti deluvian. How can you rationalise something that from the world's point of view is irrational? You can't-but please don't copy everybody elses ideas?Don't believe in God? Don't go to heaven, don't be disappointed!
Hmm... maybe there's no need to come up with any other, as you say, "original comments" because there is no need. 47 comments and logically reasons to debunk Noah's ark is far than enough. If you, on the other hand, could make a video where you're debunking these arguments (with some sort of reasonable logic (which most religious people tends to not posses)) and come up with some that can "prove" Noah's ark, feel free to.
He doesn't sound retarded at all to me...? Please enlighten me.
And please do so without being condescending. I have a thirst for knowledge, and you seem to take every question as a personal insult or something...don't read too far into suggestions or questions. They are what they are.
How can you possibly say that when you are trying to say humans lived with dinosaurs??
Did you even start high school?
The reason people are condescending to the likes of you is because you are clearly uneducated in the basic facts of the world, yet you try to assert your own version of facts based on a corrupt religious book.
You really dont see a problem with a human village rallying to the defense because of an attack of a pair of T-Rex or a pack of Velociraptors??
Seriously?
Please go to your local library and actually discover the amazing history of dinosaurs and why its impossible for that silliness you just suggested to happen.
I'm actually 20 years old. At least I don't get so defensive about stuff...I would say your sensitivity on the subject makes you sound more like a 12 year old than me, even giving my lack of research. ;)
One more thing, this video would be way better without the distracting pictures in the background. Just have the text scrolling and have the background be black so I don't have to strain my eyes. IF you remade the video with this, I would favorite it.
People learn better when they can read and listen at the same time. Plus I want to be able to pause it, read the points carefully, then prepare responses for them or do research on them. As it is, I have to try to pause it at times when the background isn't as distracting.
And the robot voices don't do anything for clarity either...your facts are good, but your presentation needs to be rethought. Please don't take that the wrong way, I really want to give constructive criticism here.
Is what possible? A boat with thousands of animals and one family related by blood stuck five miles up in the air to repopulate the entire planet??
Are you serious?
You dont even realize just how many dinosaurs there are, do you? You think there was no evolution of dinosaurs from one species to the next, just a few classic species, right?
Honestly I have done little to no research on the subject. I was just hoping people here could provide me with some answers which would then cause me to look up more stuff for myself.
There is no one subject here. There are a dozen or so.
Do you know the temperature at 5 miles? Noah and those animals would have frozen to death in no time at all, yet the bible says they were up there for 40 days.
Do some research on dinosaurs to see why the Christian creation story is utterly impossible.
I listed the facts here for you so you COULD then do the research.
Nice video, but just so you don't get too much flack for it later on, maybe you would like to correct an error I saw. You mentioned Brontosaurus, when actually - as far as I can tell - the name Brontosaurus is actually a misclassification of a Sauropod named Apatosaurus. Maybe you should add a note in your video. Otherwise, good job, enjoyed it as much as part 1. Looking forward to your next video. Part III?
Yeah I saw something about that with the Brontosaurus classification. I didn't look too closely because the main thing was pointing out the absurdity of dinosaurs being stored on a little wooden boat.
I'll probably add a note on the vid a little later though, thanks =)
You're welcome. It's important that in advancing your case, that you can put your hands up and say "I made a mistake", and either correct it, or add an annotation to your work. Otherwise we'll have creationists (not that they'd ever know that Brontosaurus isn't the accepted name, as they still think Man and Brontosaurus lived side by side) linking your "lack of taxonomic knowledge" (even though the think in "kinds") to your racist, bigoted, Darwinistic evolutionism. You know what they're like!
If I come by enough additional material I will make a part 3.
If there are enough corrections in any of these videos, I will make additional versions to address those corrections, if they are indeed warranted.
Racist comments will be removed, and earn you a ban.
Please dont be excessive with your emotional expressions and language, but I can certainly understand the frustrations others have dealing with certain individuals on this subject.
I chose to roll the text up the screen to give you guys the opportunity to see the entire point, instead of having it all run in one line at the bottom.
I know it makes it hard to see some of the background pictures, but the real focus here is the argument and points anyway.
Haha try to get a Christian to actually listen to this, you'd probably get " the demons are getting to you"

1643927 people at year 800
7585453 people at year 900
35001009 people at year 1000
(which is not quite 35 million (just a little more) due to some precision errors).
But is it possible? Sure is! These required increases are well below the rates that could have been sustained. And since there was no competition initially, the initial rates may have been far in excess of those figures. In fact, 35 million may be a vast underestimate for 1500 BC.
tubewatch59 1 year ago
tubewatch59 1 year ago
(21A) You really doubt that 4 couples can replenish the earth to 35 million people in 1000 years?
Let's see if they can or not:
Let's assume a generation time of 20 years. Then we have 50 generations available in 1000 years. Starting population is 8. Endding population is 35000000. Relative endpoint to startpoint population ratio is 35000000/8 = 4.375 million. We then find the population increase factor per 20 year generation to be the 50th root of 4.375 million...
tubewatch59 1 year ago

It was at this time, or just before it that the ark would have run aground in the mountains of Ararat.
tubewatch59 1 year ago
(18) You mention the destruction of marine eco-systems. I agree with you. But what about the setting up of new marine ecosystems? That is what evolution is all about. The natural selection of creatures able to survive a change in environment, being selected over those that cannot survive such changes. I am sure that the preflood world was totally different to what we have now. But things can and do change. And also, animals often devolve into a niche environment, where they get trapped.

(16) Many of those varieties of dinosaurs were likely evolved after the flood. But even if they were not, as you well know, most dinosaurs were very small animals in any case.

Here is part of one description from England in 1614 from St. Leonards forest in Sussex, near a village called dragon's green (and called that long before this acccount was written: ...
tubewatch59 1 year ago
(15) But we know that dinosaurs are quite small when young. Why would Noah bring full sized animals on board? He wouldn't have.
It takes quite a while for something like an ultrasaurus to grow to it's full size of 180 tonnes. This rate is likely to be between 5 to 20 years or even longer. Young "ultrasaurii" would have been far smaller and lighter than 180 tonnes and remained small and light for long enough to have been easily on the ark for a year without becoming overly huge.
tubewatch59 1 year ago
(12) the daily food requirements of an elephant - are for full sized elephants. Why on earth would Noah have brought two full sized elephants on board? In addition, this is for an active creature. And of course, very few of the animals were anywhere near elephant size in any case. The ark wasn't exactly what you'd call short on space for food stocks.

These fountains then partially fell back as torrential rain.
tubewatch59 1 year ago
@tubewatch59 9) The fucking bible does. What did the dove bring back to Noah? Thats right, a fresh olive leaf. That means they survived a year of being flooded.
.
You dont have a clue what happens to living organisms that need air to survive when they are drown, do you?
.
10) The "deep" isn't talking about direction, kid. You clearly dont know your bible. The "deep" is referencing space: the area beyond the glass bowl they thought we lived under.
ThatOneQuestion 1 year ago
@ThatOneQuestion

And please do so without being condescending. I have a thirst for knowledge, and you seem to take every question as a personal insult or something...don't read too far into suggestions or questions. They are what they are.
RogueFighter15 2 years ago
"I have a thirst for knowledge, "
How can you possibly say that when you are trying to say humans lived with dinosaurs??
Did you even start high school?
The reason people are condescending to the likes of you is because you are clearly uneducated in the basic facts of the world, yet you try to assert your own version of facts based on a corrupt religious book.
Dont see the problem?

"Please enlighten me. "
You really dont see a problem with a human village rallying to the defense because of an attack of a pair of T-Rex or a pack of Velociraptors??
Seriously?
Please go to your local library and actually discover the amazing history of dinosaurs and why its impossible for that silliness you just suggested to happen.
You sound like a 12 year old.
ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
I'm actually 20 years old. At least I don't get so defensive about stuff...I would say your sensitivity on the subject makes you sound more like a 12 year old than me, even giving my lack of research. ;)

Well you are certainly correct. I need to do more research. Sorry if I ever came across as trying to assert my own version of facts.
Regardless though I should definitely look into it more before coming in here.
RogueFighter15 2 years ago
That's what I thought. So that would pretty much throw out all the points about dinosaurs in this video...
RogueFighter15 2 years ago
One more thing, this video would be way better without the distracting pictures in the background. Just have the text scrolling and have the background be black so I don't have to strain my eyes. IF you remade the video with this, I would favorite it.

@RogueFighter15
"so I don't have to strain my eyes"

ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
People learn better when they can read and listen at the same time. Plus I want to be able to pause it, read the points carefully, then prepare responses for them or do research on them. As it is, I have to try to pause it at times when the background isn't as distracting.
And the robot voices don't do anything for clarity either...your facts are good, but your presentation needs to be rethought. Please don't take that the wrong way, I really want to give constructive criticism here.

ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
I have a few questions...
Suppose the ark story took place greater than 4500 years ago (which it would have to in order for history to make sense)? Is that possible?
Also, isn't it possible too that dinosaurs didn't actually make it onto the Ark?
These are just the questions I have for now, I'll ask more later.
RogueFighter15 2 years ago
@RogueFighter15
ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
Honestly I have done little to no research on the subject. I was just hoping people here could provide me with some answers which would then cause me to look up more stuff for myself.
RogueFighter15 2 years ago
Answers, on what?
There is no one subject here. There are a dozen or so.
Do you know the temperature at 5 miles? Noah and those animals would have frozen to death in no time at all, yet the bible says they were up there for 40 days.
Do some research on dinosaurs to see why the Christian creation story is utterly impossible.
I listed the facts here for you so you COULD then do the research.
ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
When you put all these facts together, it's pretty clear the Noachian Flood is nonsense as historical fact.
but it'd make an Awesome Roland Emmerich movie.

Part III?
bettySwollox 2 years ago
Yeah I saw something about that with the Brontosaurus classification. I didn't look too closely because the main thing was pointing out the absurdity of dinosaurs being stored on a little wooden boat.
I'll probably add a note on the vid a little later though, thanks =)
ThatOneQuestion 2 years ago
You're welcome. It's important that in advancing your case, that you can put your hands up and say "I made a mistake", and either correct it, or add an annotation to your work. Otherwise we'll have creationists (not that they'd ever know that Brontosaurus isn't the accepted name, as they still think Man and Brontosaurus lived side by side) linking your "lack of taxonomic knowledge" (even though the think in "kinds") to your racist, bigoted, Darwinistic evolutionism. You know what they're like!
