Oliver is being unbelievably selfish, I don't belive he's doing this for Sierra he's doing for him self. And seriously what is that crap about ''normal'' parents, I think Kyle is seeing a side of Oliver that he really dosen't like and Kyle is right to not let this go couse it affects his life to.
