Costa Rica is home of great pilots!! I dont know why we are constantly discriminated in other countries such as USA; I mean no offense but I think because of the weather patterns we have, costa rican pilots can fly safely anywhere in the world...sadly If a Costa Rican pilot applies for a job at American Airlines for example he(she) would be discriminated..........
not really the just have a somewhat called "preference" for domestic guys, and you need to have a 4 year degree valid in the states or be able to convert, etc....I just figured it out and flew back to my home town to get my FAA licenses.

Nice approach and landing. Anybody else notice they're using the standby flap motor. Everytime they reach up.

You will never get a job as pilto at American Airlines because they only hire US citizens... Its not because you are not a good pilot.

actually i am a us citizen, i was talking about when they know your flight training was taken in central america
